Q: A question: How do I make it show all the drop down dhtml menu items rather than having them pop up?

eg:

A: You cannot expand items by default in Deluxe Menu. You should hoverover menu to open submenus.

You can do it using Deluxe Tree.
To expand specific items in Deluxe Tree you should add + sign beforeitem's text or set the following parameter to expand all drop down dhtml items bydefault:

  var texpanded = 1;



Q: Why don't any of the effects work in Firefox? I have built several different types of menus and they don't work the same in firefox as they do in IE. Is there a way to fix this? i.e. adding any html code or anything?


A: Yes, it is really so. Firefox supports only transparency of the menu.
Visual effects work in IE only. other browsers don't support them.

Q: We are using the javascript drop down menu code to create an external link. The absolute path is recognised but it does not work. At the bottom of the page the browser displays an "error on page" message and nothing happens.

Q: Is this transparent feature there for individual submenu styles or for individual menu items in scrolling menu? I want that.

A: See, you can use "transparent" value instead of any color in the mainmenu parameters and in Individual styles.
