Q: I'm trying out the trial version and so far I really like the features. Can you tell me if I can expel the transparent look of the mouse over drop down menu?

When the mouse over drop down menu drops down over text, you can see the text. What can I do to fix it.

A: You should set the following mouse over drop down menu parameter:

  var transparency="100";



Q: How to include the search box in the navigation menubar?

A: Use the following javascript menu parameter to enable/disable the "search support" for the Deluxe menu:

  var dmSearch=2;

0-nosearch; 1-ordinary search (within one level of submenus only); 2-recursive (within the whole menu).

Set item's link to "search:", for example:

Q: I’m wondering if there is a way to keep the roll over on the current page for the script drop down menu.
Pleaselet me know if it is possible and what I should do.

Deluxe Menu has only two states normal and mouseover.

Try to do the following things:

- delete   var pressedItem=1; parameter from your data file
- set correct parameter on each page before you call data file, forexample:

You can also set a pressed item using Javascript API:

function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion)

Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.

But notice, to use dm_ext_setPressedItem() you should know ID of selected item and subitem.
You can't get this ID after you reload your page. That is why you should write your own code on PHP.



Q: Does your product generate the page code or is t a dll I have to use? Reason I ask is because we store our menu stuff with image references in a db. If your product outputs code for the menu, then I can use that and in my own code I can place/substitute values and work with it from there.

A: We have an .exe file - Deluxe tuner.
It generates .js files with menu parameters.
You can also export your menu to .html file.

You may generate a menu from a database or XML using any server-side script, e.g., PHP, ASP, VB, etc.
However, these scripts don't work inside of Javascript .js files, so, you should move parameters of a menu from a .js file into an html-page, e.g.:
