A: Actually Deluxe Menu works correctly with nested frames in most cases.Try to install Deluxe Menu in cross-frame mode. If you'll have someproblems you can send us a copy of your html page (including .js files) ora direct link to your website, so we can check it.



Q: We have purchased 'Deluxe Menu...'.
We are integrating the menu into the site. However, we are facing an issue i.e. drop down menu with css overlapping the 'Select' box in the IE 6.0.

I went through the help pages in the deluxe menu website and tried out the Suggestion of assigning 1 to dmObjectsCheck i.e.   var dmObjectsCheck=1 and adding the function as below.

It is throwing some error when we do that. Could you please suggest, what should we to get rid of overlapping. Please see the attached screen for the error. The error captured using Firefox.

A: Check that you're using Deluxe Menu v3.2.5.
Check also that you have dmenu_add.js file in the same folder withdmenu.js file.

Or you can try to set also the following parameter:

Q: I would like to purchase your menu system but I need to know if I can control disable property for the menu javascripts

A: You can try to use the following function:

function dm_ext_changeItemVisibility (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, visibility)

Shows/hides the item.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0. See more info about indexes here.
visibility = true/false - visibility of the item.

Q: Hi there ... a while ago I had asked you what I need to change to prevent exit pops from being activated, but I don't think it's working.

For example, a regular link that I want:

onClick="exit=false"

How do I do it with dhtml vertical menu?

Before, in the "text" box in the "Item Parameters" window, you had me do the following:

But that doesn't seem to work. Any other suggestions? Thanks very much.

A: I suppose that you should move menuItems from the data file to yourhtml page directly (where you define exit variable).
