Q: Hi, I purchased your deluxe-menu product and it's working great, the only problem I'm having is the tree menu in javascript is always fully expanded when a new customer enters the site. I've looked through your support blog but I can't find a reason for it.

A: Check that parameter:

  var texpanded = 0;

It expands all items by default.


Q: When I create a tree menu that can be expanded with the double arrows. I was wonder if there was a way to have the dhtml slide tree menu already expanded with I open the page the menu is on instead of having to expanded every time.


A: To expand items by default in Deluxe Tree you should add '+' symbolbefore item text.

I want a menu with the expandable + signs on the left which will expandon rollover and allow only one to be expanded at the same time.


A: You should set the following parameters

  var texpandItemClick = 1;
  var tcloseExpanded = 1;
  var tcloseExpandedXP = 1;

Try to do it in the new Deluxe Tuner beta version. We've fixed somebugs with these parameters in the new version.


Q: Hello, I very much like your components and will most likely buy one or more (or all!) of them for multi domain use after evaluating, I am however finding a problem with the Deluxe Popup javascript menu windows when it contains Flash content and I am resizing the window in IE6 or IE7, is this a known issue? Do you need an example of what I am referring to? We intend to use a lot of Flash content inside the windows so this is a big issue I need to resolve or workaround somehow, it seems fine in other browsers however.

Also do you have examples of how a window can be manipulated after creation, for example altering its position, width/height, window title and content etc with JS? Such an example would probably save me time evaluating.

A: To overlap your flash file you should add opaque parametersto your flash, for example:
