Q: Using the example menu you have, how do i make the sub-menu for the 'Sample' menu item a multi-column and leave the 'Product Info' menu item as is.
I only want certain sub-menus to have multi-columns. I don't want all menu items to have a multi-column sub.

You should use individual styles.

Q: I can not however find the option to move submenus closer together, I have too much ident for my taste.
How can I change that, by hand if that is the only way...

A: If you don't want to have icons before item text you can write so:

Your items will be closer to the "+" buttons.


Q: How does the search engine stuff work. A web developer told me to stay away from java script if you want google to recognize your webpage.
Can you comfort me by telling me how it works.


A: Spiders can't read dynamically-generated Javascript code, so theycan't read menu links.
Search engine friendly means that you can add additional html codewithin your html page. You can generate such a code using Deluxe TunerGUI that you can find in the trial menu package. But if you'll use themenu without any additional html code, spider won't see menu links.


Q: Is there a way with your script drop down menu to make the menus appear to be expanded when on a certain page?


A: No, unfortunately there is no way to expand Deluxe Menu.

You can try to use Deluxe Tree, http://deluxe-tree.com in that case.
You can expand specific items in Deluxe Tree using
