Q: I have used Deluxe tuner menu on a web page and facing two small problems

a) The separator I have used do not show up. This is supposed to be a black horizontal line below every menu item. The image name is sep.jpg

b) The submenu appears on the right and I am unable to figure out a way to get the submenu to appear on the left. My navigation is placed on the right panel so if the sub menu appears on right of drop down menu bar, it practically goes off the page.

Can you please help with this and let me know why this is happening ?

A: 1) You should set separators between main items:

And set:

2) You should set the following parameter:

  var smViewType=2;



Q: I had create a website navigation bar ,in that I need to give separator. But its not working.
Please advise.

A: To add a separator you should

You can create separators using menuItems (you can do it in DeluxeTuner, use "Add separator" button), for example:

Q: I’m wondering if there is a way to keep the roll over on the current page for the script drop down menu.
Pleaselet me know if it is possible and what I should do.

Deluxe Menu has only two states normal and mouseover.

Try to do the following things:

- delete   var pressedItem=1; parameter from your data file
- set correct parameter on each page before you call data file, forexample:

<script type="text/javascript" src="menudir/dmenu.js"></script>

You can also set a pressed item using Javascript API:

function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion)

Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.

But notice, to use dm_ext_setPressedItem() you should know ID of selected item and subitem.
You can't get this ID after you reload your page. That is why you should write your own code on PHP.



Q: Where I, that the Submenue of my javascript menu vertical doesn't vanish so quickly, can put in. I want to fade it somewhat later.

A: Try to use the following parameter:  var transDuration = 500;
