Q: Is this transparent feature there for individual submenu styles or for individual menu items in scrolling menu? I want that.
A: See, you can use "transparent" value instead of any color in the mainmenu parameters and in Individual styles.
var menuBackColor="transparent";
var menuBorderColor="transparent";
var itemBackColor=["transparent","transparent"];
var itemBorderColor=["transparent","transparent"];
var moveColor="transparent";
var shadowColor="transparent";
var itemStyles = [
["itemBackColor=transparent,transparent","itemBorderColor=transparent,transparent"],
];
var menuStyles = [
["menuBackColor=transparent","menuBorderColor=transparent"],
];
Q: Is it possible to open a specific tab using javascript in the horizontal tabbed?
A: You can try to use the following function:
dtabs_itemClick(menuN, itemN);
where
menuN - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
itemN - index of a tab you want to show, >=0.
Q: I'm loving your product! It has definitely made my life easier.
I do have a question however. I know if I put a "+" in front of the title, the category will be expanded by default.
["+PRODUCTS","", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", ],
Is there a way to do that dynamically? Maybe have some code that would tell the sliding tree menu to expand on that particular page?
A: On your pages you should call the following function/functions to expand/highlight items, for example:
<script>
dtreet_ext_expandItem (dtreet_ext_getItemIDByIndex (0, 0), 1);
dtreet_ext_setPressedItem (0, dtreet_ext_getItemIDByIndex (0, 1));
</script>

http://www.deluxe-tree.com/functions-info.htmlQ: I'm currently experimenting with your script which I far more performant than any of the other I have tried so far, so we will probably go with yours and get a distributer license.
I do have a problem though...
I have two menus on my site.
Unfortunately, as they are being used, if you go over the first item in the left menu, it will show its submenu at the top; if you go over the first item of the top menu, it will also show the contents of the second menu...
How can we change this?
A: Installation of your menu is not correct.
See more info about installation here:

There is no
<script type="text/javascript"> var dmWorkPath = "menudir/";</script>
parameter on your page.
Notice also that you should call dmenu.js file only once and then callyour data files.
Now you have two calls of dmenu.js file.
