Q: Is it possible to add checkboxes to menu items and retrieve the checked items? I need to create a multiple item select menu. So the javascript menu slide would need to remain open and allow a user to select multiple items and would either submit onmouseout or maybe a "submit these selections" javascript menu slide item.

Q: I have been working with the trial package for the last couple of days, of which I have been really impressed with. However there have been a couple of things that have frustrated me greatly...

The natural place that I first tried was replacing the "content1" line with a direct URL in the   var bmenuItems section but this made no difference at all. I am also trying to work out what each set of "" equate to as I have found a couple of pages on the Internet very similar to this but none of them have nine different sections.

A: You can't assign links in Dhtml Tabs when you're using   var tabMode = 0;.
You can assign only the object's ID of <div> on your page.

Try to set   var tabMode = 1;
and use links for your items.


Q: I am really interested in this product but I am having difficulty adding content to the java menu bar tabs. I checked the FAQ section and followed the directions, but when I test it nothing happens and I get an error on page at the bottom.


A: See, for each item you should assign the ID property of the contentDIV (see data file with your menu parameters). You should set  var tabMode=0;

Q: I've browsed your product, and I'm trying to determine if there is an existing template that would support a vertical flyout menu, where the static menu is one button, but when clicked on, it lays out 5 additional buttons in a straight line horizontally to the right of the static button. Is this feasible to create with your product with relative ease, and if so, what's the easiest way?
