Q: Everything is working quite well -- with the following exception:

I added a button.gif file to my item, hoping that the graphic would appear rather than just a colored cell. (Yes, I did upload the button.gif file to the .files folder.)

My work looks great in the preview window, but still shows the colored cells in my web page (www.misyssbm.com/buy/index.php left side menu). My text changes show up on the web page, so I know it was updated.

Any ideas (note I have two deluxe menus)?


A: You should check all your images paths.
You should also upload these files on your server in"side_menu.files/" folder.
I've tried to download "side_menu.files/btn_navy.gif" but I can't doit.
Please, check it.


Q: My site requires me to regularly update the drop down menu by inserting a new item at the top of the list.


A: Add items using the following function:

function dm_ext_addItemPos (menuInd, submenuInd, iParams, Pos)

Adds the new item to a submenu.

menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.

iParams = [array] - the array of item parameters.
This parameter has the same structure as an item in menuItems array.
You can assign parameters of another existent item of the menu
(for example, when you want to create a duplicate of the existent item) or create new ones.

Structure of iParams:
[item_text, link, icon_normal, icon_over, tip, target, individual_style_index, jsFilename]
Pos - the position in the menu where you want to add new item.

Q: We bought a tab menu javascript licence yesterday and we can't figure out how to implement it into our web site.

You can create only one level of tabs and assign Object Id's of the
DIV's to show when you click on the tab.

Q: I have notices that using IE7 on a W2K3-R2 browsing your page I can't see the javascript collapsible menu, it happened in our development as well.

A: Your browser has JavaScript option disabled.
It means that no one JavaScript element can be run.
You should to enable JavaScript in IE:

Tools -> Internet Options -> Security -> Custom level... -> Scripting -> Active Scripting = Enable
