A: There are no special parameters for menu dimensions.
But you can use submenu IDs. For example, top-menu has ID"dmXXXm0"

Where XXX - menu index. So, first menu on the page has ID "dm0m0".
So, you can determine menu dimensions so:

document.getElementById('dm0m0').offsetWidth
document.getElementById('dm0m0').offsetHeight

You can also use Javascript API functions to take submenu IDs.



Q: How can make dhtml tabs to open internet link in the same window?


A: You should set the following paramter in your data.js file (file, created in Deluxe Tuner),
where your tab-menu parameters (vars) and items (  var bmenuItems) are placed.

  var bitemTarget = "_blank";

Default target for all items ("_self","_blank","_parent","_top",...).
If equal to "" - defined as "_self".

Or you can set target parameter in your data file using Deluxe Tuner:
"Tab mode" section in the menu parameters list.




Q: We have another question. How can we increase the width of the vista style buttons? Changing the itemwidth style will make the buttons larger but it also cause all the images to appear in the wrong place.

A: The width of Vista images is 92px. So, if you want to create the itemswider than 92px you should change vista images in any graphic editor,for example in PhotoShop.


Q: I am having a lot of trouble trying to get the menu to work properly. I want to make sure that I get it working before I make the licesning purchase.

The menu is to be CSS based but while I have the main menu somewhat in location, none of the settings are correct. Can you help?


A: See, the problem is that the script can't get css properties of the object if they are described in separate .css block (or file).
To get the value you should move .css style into style="POSITION: relative;" attribute.

Please, try to add your
css file -> inline css

Try to write so:
<DIV id=if-navbar style="POSITION: relative;">
