  • Create contextual menus for your pages. For this purpose you should assign a special function for the object you want. The current coordinates of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the contextual menu.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. Q: We create the menu code via ASP, and we need to have 2 menus on one page. Normally you do this by having 2 java scripts includes.

However it looks like the bottom menu activates the first menu?


A: Now you have two entries of dmenu.js file on your site in the tag.
You must have only one entry of dmenu.js file.
You should write so:

Q: Is there a way to capture user click event just like the one in the javascript menu sliding?

A: Unfortunately, you can't assign onmouseover/onClick/onContextMenu event to each item.
However, you can achieve this by using standard html objects within items, for example:

Q: Do I need to generate a html file after I create dhtml menu and than work from that file? Or can I just copy and paste the code into my existing html file?

A: It will be better create dhtml menu in Deluxe Tuner and save your menu as html file. And copy html codefor the menu from this file into your page. You should also copyfolder with all menu file and data file with menu parameters into the same folder with you html page.



Q: I've just updated my menu from 2.4 to 3.2. All is fine except two of my java script pop up menu (vertical) appear on the left instead of the right, all the others pop out to the right as before. I've tried saving it as a completely different file name, same problem, both within a browser and within your preview pane.

Any help would be much appreciated, I'm at a loss.
