Q: I would like to purchase a single website deluxe menu to be used in dhtml menu frame bar. I am not a professional web designer.
I would like to know the cost and details regarding the following.

A: You should create your dhtml menu frame in Deluxe Tuner, save it.
Create html file with your frame set.
Set ID for the first frameset:

Q: I am trying to create a multicolumn dhtml navigation menu and nothing appears when I upload it to my server. I am attaching my menu called menu.js that I have created and placed in a folder called menudir.

Deluxe Menu has only two states normal and mouseover.
Try to do the following things:
- delete var pressedItem=1; parameter from your data file
- set correct parameter on each page before you call data file, forexample:

<script type="text/javascript"> var dmWorkPath = "menudir/";</script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="menudir/dmenu.js"></script>

You can also set a pressed item using Javascript API:
function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion)
Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.
But notice, to use dm_ext_setPressedItem() you should know ID of selected item and subitem. You can't get this ID after you reload your page. That is why you should write your own code on PHP.Q: I am trying to have the selected top menu w dhtml item remain on the mouseover event after it is selected. It seemed to be working fine when i was just testing with # as a link but when i actually linked to different pages it returns to normal. How do i get this to work.

Q: I ran across your site on a search engine and downloaded the trial copy. I am playing around with it and have successfully generated a menu bar which I wanted to try and test out. I have followed the directions for installing it on my trial page of my website and can not get it to work. I am not sure what I am doing wrong . I would truly love to buy this, but even with following the installation instructions, I can not get free javascript drop down menu to work. I use Dreamweaver to build my site.
A: Deluxe Menu wasn't developed as Dreamweaver/Frontpage extension and wedon't have plug-ins for it. To install the menu into your html page:
1. create and save .js file with your menu parameters in Deluxe Tuner(you can use "File/Save as/HTML" function).
You can enter any name you like, for example enter "menu". So you'llhave menu.html, menu.js files and "menu.files" folder with all menu files.
2. open your .html page in Dreamweaver
3. Copy generated menu.js file and "menu.files/" folder in the same folderwith your index.html page.
4. Open generated menu.html in any text editor and copy several rows of code (<script> tags), For info see:
