Q: How woud I make all the sub-menu’s height and text smaller in the css dhtml menu?
A: You can create Individual Item Style and assign it to each item insubmenu.
For example:
var itemStyles = [
["itemHeight=10px","fontStyle=normal 9px Trebuchet MS, Tahoma"],
];
and assign it to each item in submenu:
["|Item 7","", "", "", "", "", "0", "", "", ],
["|Item 8","", "", "", "", "", "0", "", "", ],
you can also use standard <br> tags.
["|Home text<br>text","testlink.htm", "default.files/icon1_s.gif", "default.files/icon1_so.gif", "", "Home Page Tip", "", "", "", ],
Q: I would like to add a javascript link but cannot seem to get it handle the event as a tag or onclick event. I just want to grab the current page, insert it into a string, and go off to the page it specifies. Can this be done?
A: You're able to use Javascript for each item, for example:
var menuitems = [
["item text", "javascript:your_code_here"]
];
Unfortunately, you can't assign onmouseover/onClick event to each item.
However, you can achieve this by using standard html objects within items, for example:
var menuitems = [
["<div onClick='your_code_here'>item text</div>", "index.html"]
];
Q: My second “drop down” column of the milonic dhtml menu goes up instead of down like the rest..Can you tell me how to correct this?
A: Try to set the following parameter:
var subMenuVAlign="bottom";
Q: - I downloaded and installed your trial version..
- Selected "Tuner" then "tabs"
- Left pane sorta baffled me - even after reading documentation
- so in preview pane I selected "Templates" and Kaspersky style..
- The preview looked nothing like the kaspersky javascript menu example.. My feeling was that I had to somehow find the image elements to complete the menu tabs.. (A rather daunting task)..
- AM I missing something??
A: To use Kaspersky style javascript menu example you should assign Individual Stylesfor your items. You can find this info in the templates window.
