Q: I am trying out your menu and I've made out a little test case in the attached file.

If you run it, you will see that the horizontal drop down menu css scrollsOUTSIDE the container div to the edges of the window. Is there anyway I can make the hhorizontal drop down menu css be within the container div and yet scroll?

And will the solution be cross-browser?

Note that menuDiv needs to have a collapsableDiv style. I am assuming that that is not a problem.

Q: One other issue I'm having is that the content for the menu bar in java "selected tab" on my site does not show up in IE7. Works fine in firefox, though. Any ideas about that?

A: Try to delete height: 0%; parameter from the styles:

<div id="content1" style="height: 0%; visibility: hidden;" class="tabPage">

So you'll have:
<div id="content1" style="visibility: hidden;" class="tabPage">

Q: With the new version, my body onload function is blocked.
In our application we do something with a body onload function.
It doesn't get called if I use the deluxe-menu. If I remove deluxe-menu js files from html, it works.

Is there a way I can use deluxe-menu and get my onload handler called?


A: Deluxe Menu detects any user's onload events and remember them in the case when you write a such events before dm_init(); call.

Try to delete onload event from <body> and write the following at theend of a page (after dm_init() call):

<script type="text/javascript"> onload = onloadHandler;</script>

That should work.


Q: I still am having no luck with Firefox showing an Incorrect Copyright nag (Again, just Firefox for Mac; no problem with other browsers.)

Also, I am still requiring a long delay to keep the pop-up window open from loading as the page loads. Script reads:

A: Delete 'openAfter=' at all from deluxePopupWindow.attachToEventfunction (in all files):

In that case popup windows won't show till you click on the images.

You should write NOSCRIPT tag in the following way:

I've just checked it. There is no nag message in Firefox in that case.But notice that you won't have nag message on your website only. On alocal machine you'll have nag message.
