Q: I am having a lot of trouble trying to get the menu to work properly. I want to make sure that I get it working before I make the licesning purchase.

The menu is to be CSS based but while I have the main menu somewhat in location, none of the settings are correct. Can you help?


A: See, the problem is that the script can't get css properties of the object if they are described in separate .css block (or file).
To get the value you should move .css style into style="POSITION: relative;" attribute.

Please, try to add your
css file -> inline css

Try to write so:
<DIV id=if-navbar style="POSITION: relative;">


Q: I need to have a horizontal menu and a vertical menu on the same page (obviously with different content). I did this as two separate "projects" in the tuner and gave them different names so that the files wouldn't step on each other. However, it looks like only the second menu works, though it does show both. I assume it has something to do with the variable dmWorkPath overriding the first value with the second. How can I have two menus each with different content on the same HTML page?


A: You can use as many menus as you want on the one page.

But you should call dmWorkPath parameter and dmenu.js file only once.

Q: I was testing your suite and I like it very much, but I do have problems with IE 7 (last updates) on a winXP Pro machine. The javascript menu sample doesn't show up on the site. Do you know something about this or can you tell me what I have made wrong? I tried the normal export and also the export code for search friendly sites.

Please give me a short hint, what I must change.

Q: For any reason dropdown menu in javascript know shows incorrect accented characters.

A: You can save your data file in UTF-8 in Windows version of DeluxeTuner v3.2.7.

You should turn on "Tools/Use utf8 encode" property.
In that case your data file will be saved in UTF-8 encode.

Enter these symbols and save your data file.

If you don't want to use UTF-8 encode on your page you should turn off"Tools/Use utf8 encode" property, save your data file and manuallychange your letters in any text editor.

You can also replace your letters with special sets, for example

&ccedil; - Small c, cedilla - c
