Q: I am trying to make the tab menu to work correctly and after extensive testing and I have come across a problem that I can seem to get resolved. I am using images for the tab menu with no text and <divs> to display information about each javascript new menu tab. However while the page loads I can see all the content from all the <div> javascript new menu tabs and when the page if fully loaded, the web page then displays the content correctly with all the content hidden until the correct tab is selected. Mind you this is the only thing on the webpage so there shouldn’t be any load time problems.

Please advice what is happen to resolve this issue.

A: Try to set display: none; property for the style of your DIV, forexample:

<div id="content1" style="display: none;" class="tabPage">
<br><br><br>
<p align=center><img src="../image/img/logo_DM.gif" width=262 height=56 alt="Deluxe-Menu.com"></p>
</div>

<div id="content2" style="display: none;" class="tabPage">
<br><br><br>
<p align=center><img src="../image/img/logo_DT.gif" width=262 height=56 alt="Deluxe-Tree.com"></p>

</div>

Q: Are these cool html scripts compatible with .NET?

A: Yes, Deluxe Menu works in .NET.
Deluxe Menu is a Javascript product. It means that it works on aclient side and it doesn't work on a server side as ASP.NET script.
So, you can create the menu using standard html page and them movemenu code within .asp page.

Q: I am setting up a 3 tab script and each tab opens a new page butthe state of the tab selected reverts back to the default tab.
How do I keep the tab selected for the html vertical tabs when advancing to the next tab (new page)?

A: You should change the selected tab depending on the page you are now.

This Tabs menu can save pressed item automatically within1 page only.
If you open another page, the menu can't remember presseditem.
You should do that manually using Javascript and menu parameters(  var bselectedItem) or
using any server-side script (php, asp, etc.)

Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions which can return theselected tab.

So, you can set "bselectedItem" parameter based on your link beforeyou call data.js file.

For example, move "bselectedItem" parameter from data.js file to yourcode.

<TD vAlign=top align=left>
/* Select Tab */
<script type="text/javascript" language="JavaScript1.2">
  var bselectedItem=<?php echo $seltabs; ?>;
</script>
<SCRIPT src="data.js" type=text/javascript>
</SCRIPT>
</TD>

You should define seltabs using server side script.

Q: I have downloaded the trial version of the tree menu to use it to create our products list that will be distributed on a CD. We have decided to buy it but we are confused which license we should buy!

Which license we should buy?

A: To use Deluxe Tree on CD/DVD you should buy developer license.
Other licenses allow you to use the menu on Internet / Intranetwebsites only.

With the Developer license you can use the menu on an unlimited number ofInternet or Intranet sites and on the local machines.
This version of the script doesn't check keys and it isn't bound to adomain name, so it can be used with an application that doesn't have afixed domain name. There is also no need to add <noscript> tag to eachpage.

See in Single Website License, Multiple Website License and DeveloperLicense our source code is obfuscated.
And in Developer License with Javascript Source Code you can see thecode and change it. This is unique difference between Developerlicense and Developer license with source code.
