  • Apply any font of any color, size and font decoration you need. Use any available type, color and thickness of a menu's frame. Choose any color for submenus and items backgrounds.
  • Set the size of the menu in percent, pixels, or other units. This menu may have a relative (it can be inserted into the table, for example) or absolute position .
  • Specify various values for spacing and padding for the whole menu and for each separate submenu.
  • You can specify a time for delays in showing or hiding of a submenu. Use special prefixes for image paths and links to make paths absolute.
  • Create separators using your own pictures, size and alignment.

A: Yes, it is possible.
To create vertical menu you should set

  var isHorizontal=0;

Why of showing submenu you can set so:

Q: Is there a way to convert a dhtml javascript tree menu I created into a Deluxe Menu using the same data so I do not have to type in all the names and links of items?

A: Actually menuItems and tmenuItems have a different structure.

We don't have such converter yet. You can try to change your menuItems in any text editor. I suppose it will be easier to convert items in editor than in Deluxe Tuner.

Q: I am developing a site where the customer does not want any transition effects within the IE browser.
I want to emulate the above mentioned browsers with the same transition.
When mousing over javascript flyout menu - the submenu should appear with no effect.

A: To turn off transitional effects you should set the following parameters:

  var transDuration2=0;


Q: I am struggling with my menu on my site the submenu is under the main text area. How do I make the submenu come to the front.


A: Check your z-index for <DIV id=navigation>.
Try to write it, for example, so:
