A: Yes, you can create such menu.
You can create "normal" items using separator.

Q: Hi, I was wondering if there is a way to leave a main java swing menu bar item highlighted when in that section. For example if I clicked on "Contact Us" and when I am on the contact us page, the "Contact us" navigation would still be highlighted. I appreciate any help you might have, thanks!

A: The java swing menu bar has only two states normal and mouseover. We'll try to add the pressed state in the future.

You can set a pressed item using Javascript API:

function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion)

Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an java swing menu bar item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.

But notice, to use dm_ext_setPressedItem() you should know ID of selected item and subitem. You can't get this ID after you reload your page. That is why you should write your own code on PHP.



Q: I would like to separate each main js dropdown menu item (Find an Expert, Contact...etc) with a dotted line graphic. If you look at the js dropdown menu, you will see that each graphic is separated by a dotted line. I am trying to replicate that look in the Deluxe Menu. Is there a way I can do that? I tried to use the "separatorImage" value in the DeluxeTuner, but it didn't seem to do anything. Is there a way to put a dotted border just along the bottom of them item, instead of around the whole item (like a box)? Or is there a way to insert the graphic between the items?

A: To add a separator you should

Q: Hello, I am interesting in purchasing your product, but first I need to know if it is possible to call a JavaScript function from the menu.  I have read the FAQ and noted where it lists that you can perform an alert call, and that worked on my end as well, but when I attempted to call a function I created I could not get it to respond.  Is it possible to call a function from your menu?  Could I get an example?
