Javascript Menu. DHTML Menu.

  • Build right-click menus for your site. For this purpose you should appoint a peculiar method for the object you want. The current X,Y of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the context menu.
  • Design menus absolutely based on CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). It is possible to apply the personal CSS styles for every elements of the menu.
  • When the submenu is bigger than the visible page area, the size of submenu will be automatically decreased. To view all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automagically scrolled! You can also define width and height for each submenu.

Q: I have two question for now...

Where can I change the word "loading" during ajax is loading the submenu?????
Is state saving of javascript based tree just for the first level??? Does it works for the AJAX submenus?

The reason why I switch to treemenu is the possibility of state saving!

A: I've just checked your website and save state feature works fine for the ajax submenus.

I see you changed the "Loading.." text inside the dtree_ajax.js file.

Q: We purchased your Deluxe Menu 2.0 and have realised that in the Firefox browser the shadowing around the css javascript menu is not visible.

Please could you tell us how to correct this.

A: See, transitional effects (shadow) are features of Internet Explorer 5.5+ only.

Q: Is it possible to enter text in the java source code that won't display as a link?


A: If you don't want to use items as links you can disable these items.
To disable item you should set target parameter to "_".

You can do it in "Item Parameters" window.


Q: More importantly, my last tab is showing up as active when the page with java floating menu loads...

A: See the following parameter:

  var bselectedItem=0;
You should set index of the item you want to select.
