Q: If need to make changes do I need to replace all the files and folder and script in all the web pages? Or are there just one or two files that need to be replaced? Which files or folders?


A: You need to change only your data.js (by default) file. It is thefile with your menu parameters.
Then you should upload this file on your server and may be add somenew images. That is all.


Q: I don't know anything about what JavaScript is all about...and I'm currently trying to get a menu that will float as I scroll down the page.
I saw the examples you have and I'd love to be able to do that on my website, but I don't understand the scripting that you have written there.
Like, what makes it float from this text...


A: If you want a floatable menu, you should set an absolute position forthe menu and paste the following code into your html page:

Paste the following code into <head> tag

<script type="text/javascript">  var dmWorkPath = "data.files/";</script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="data.files/dmenu.js"></script>

Then set coordinates of top-left menu corner in the data .js file, forexample:

  var absolutePos=1;
  var posX=30;
  var posY=110;

Then set   var floatable=1.

The parameter floatable=1 makes a floatable menu.

Also you can change any of menu parameters inside data .js file.


Q: Do I need to generate a html file after I create dhtml menu and than work from that file? Or can I just copy and paste the code into my existing html file?

A: It will be better create dhtml menu in Deluxe Tuner and save your menu as html file. And copy html codefor the menu from this file into your page. You should also copyfolder with all menu file and data file with menu parameters into the same folder with you html page.



Q: I’m trying to add a padding before the beforeItemImage for the sub navigation bar but I can’t do it after hours off trying it.

A: You should add a separator with blank (or white) image.
