Javascript Menu. DHTML Menu.

  • There can be multi level menus - create as many rows or columns of the menu as you want.
  • Use a mouse to drag a menu as a usual window. Also you can construct the menu where each submenu can be "detached" from the main menu (MSOfficeToolbarLike mode).

Q: I purchased your menu and I am currently using it. I was trying to use the vista template with the images. Yet when I have an js dropdown menu item that is a little long in text the image breaks in to two buttons. Is there a way to fix this or is that just the way it is with these templates?

A: Images in Vista Templates have the fixed width and height (92 x21):

When items text is too long you can have such effect.

You can try to use combined background for your items, for example:

  var itemBackImage = [,]; //background or image for normal and mouse over state
  var afterItemImage = [,]; //right-side image for normal and mouse over state
  var beforeItemImageW = '';

But you should create a small images in any Graph Editor, for example:

Q: Any idea when Deluxe Tabs will support Google Chrome?? None of my javascripts tabs work.

A: We fixed all issues with Google Chrome.

Q: How do I make the top nav buttons exactly the same width for each button?

Total menu width is 743px and I have 6 buttons I want the width of each button to be fixed at 123px.

I set   var menuWidth="743" but it averages out the buttons based on the text.


A: You should use individual item styles. For example:

Q: I cannot see the shadow on the top items of the menu. Can you help me?


A: Now you have shadow the submenus only, if you want to have shadowfor the top items you should set the following parameters:

You can see the shadow in Internet Explorer 5+ only.
