  • You can set the size of the menu in pixels, percent or other units. The menu may have an absolute or relative position (it can be inserted into the table).
  • Use any necessary font of any color, size and font decoration. Create any available type, thickness and color of a menu's frame.Choose any color for backgrounds of submenus and items.
  • Specify various values for padding and spacing for the whole menu and for each separate submenu.
  • You can specify a time for delays in showing or hiding of a submenu. Use special prefixes for image paths and links to make paths absolute.

Q: I need to execute some javascript first when someone clicks on the tab in the floating tabs.

A: You should paste "javascript:some_function()" into item's link field, for example:

["tab text","javascript: window.open('test.html', 'frameName')", ...],
or
["tab text","javascript: getURLForFrame()", ...],

Q: Another problem I've found with v3.1 is that the top X value of the javascript floating menu is not used once you start scrolling a page.

A: Yes, we've made some changes in javascript floating menu feature in the new version.

Try to set
  var floatable=2;



Q: The value of dmAJAXCount = 0 (we don't set that parameter).
How exactly does this parameter work? When does it have to be set?


A: That variable set the maximal number of submenus that will be loadedfrom server on your page.

If you don't know exact number of submenus you can set a big value forthis parameter.


Q: If there was a way to show the links inside the html code instead of the dhtml menu js files. Shouldwe use an alternative mode as (css Style?)

A: You can move menuItems into html page directly inside <script> ...
</script> tags:

You can also use search engine friendly code and install it on yourpage before you call your dhtml menu js file.
You'll see text links in that case.

To create a search engine friendly menu you should add additional html code within your html page:

<a href="http://deluxe-tree.com">menu_item_text2</a>
...etc.
</div>

To generate such a code use Deluxe Tuner application.

Run Tuner, load your menu and click Tools/Generate SE-friendly Code (F3)
