Q: I need to use an iframe within the popup window.
Is there any way I can close the dhtml window from the page loaded within the iframe?


A: You can close the popup using the following function:

document.getElementById('win').hide();

Unfortunately it won't work if you use iframe as window content.
You open another page in the popup (in Iframe) so you cannot access
document.getElementById('win').hide();
element which is situated on the first page.

When you use text or object_id as window content the content of the popup will be situated
on the same page so you can access document.getElementById('win') element and hide it.

There is a workaround.
Use text as content type and add the following code inside popup:

<a onclick="document.getElementById('win').hide();">...</a><iframe></iframe>

Your link will work in that case.



Q: I was wondering if there is a way to disable links on a page for the script menu.I am creating a site where, in a certain mode, the page is in preview and Idon't want the links to work.

A: To disable your menu items you should set the following parameter to disable all items:

  var itemTarget="_";

Or you can disable items individually.

Q: I just discovered your product and I think it is fabulous! I would like to buy it, but have one issue which is strange:

I have a list of 12 items, each with a submenu that is loaded using the ajax technology. The submenues are loaded correctly for the first 8 items, but not for the last 4 items. I can switch items around, always the first 8 only get loaded. Is there a limitation to 8 items?


A: No, there is no such limitation.

Please, check the following parameter:
  var dmAJAXCount=0;

That variable set the maximal number of submenus that will be loadedfrom server on your page.


Q: The spacing between each item of the top horizontal dropdown menu is uneven but I don't know why.

If you highlight them all it becomes more obvious.

It is almost as if the space after a 2 word link is twice the space after a one word link or else the total space after each link is related to the number of letters in the link.

For example the space after 'Discounts' is greater than the space after 'Home' but the space after 'Envelope Printing' is even greater.

A: You can try to set the following horizontal dropdown menu parameters:

  var menuWidth="";

  var itemPadding="0px 10px 0px 10px";
