  • Create contextual menus for your pages. For this purpose you should assign a special function for the object you want. The current coordinates of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the contextual menu.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. To see all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automatically scrolled! Q: Is it possible to open the dhtml tree to a particular state when a link is chosen from elsewhere in the site (not from a menu link)?

A: function dtreet_ext_expandItem (itemID, expand)
Expands/collapses a specified item or a submenu.
itemID - ID property of an item. expand - 0 - expand the item, 1 - show the item.

Q: I am using XP style tree menu and would like to have top level menu item with no submenu items. However, the right double arrow icon still show up. Is there a way to hide it for the item without submenu items in css javascript tree menu?

See the attached document, I want to remove the double arrow icon at right for "Mission Statement", "History", "Direction" and "Contact Us".

Any help will be appreciated.

A: You can create Individual XP Style and use it for items with submenus:

Q: The menu doesn't show the drop down sub items. If you would look at the script there are two sublinks for Accommodation which however is not visible when we are doing a mouseover. I have attached the revised data.js file with this mail. Please let me know if thre is anything else hat i need to look into.


A: You should set back color for your submenus.

For example you should create style and assign it for the subitems:
