  • Build right-click menus for your site. For this purpose you should appoint a peculiar method for the object you want. The current X,Y of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the context menu.
  • Design menus absolutely based on CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). It is possible to apply the personal CSS styles for every elements of the menu.
  • When the submenu is bigger than the visible page area, the size of submenu will be automatically decreased. To view all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automagically scrolled! Q: I need to be able to highlight the selected menu en dhtml item of the Deluxe Menu.

A: Deluxe Menu has only two states normal and mouseover.

Try to do the following things:

- delete   var pressedItem=1; parameter from your menu en dhtml data file
- set correct parameter on each page before you call data file, forexample:

You can also set a pressed item using Javascript API:

function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion)

Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.

But notice, to use dm_ext_setPressedItem() you should know ID of selected item and subitem.
You can't get this ID after you reload your page. That is why you should write your own code on PHP.



Q: Is it possible to expand vertical collapse menu in a predefined way?

A: You can expand some items by default.
Add '+' sign before items text in that case:

Q: Also, when viewing the webpage with the dhtml list menu, my browser tells me that it is blocking scripts and ActiveX applications. I have to override it. Is there a way to prevent this so my customers don't get this message, or will it go away when I post it to my domain?

A: You should adjust your browser settings.

"Allow active content from files to run on My Computer".

There is no way to enable these preferences automatically, in othercase there are no reasons to create security preferences.
