Javascript Menu. DHTML Menu.

Q: There is a default gap between two collapsible javascript menu buttons. Suppose the two menu are "Company profile" and "Service", there is a default gap between those tow , it is not taking the specified space( for example I am putting 2px gap but it is taking a default gap) Please suggest me the solution for the same.

A: You should use new parameter in the data file:

Q: Everything will go fine during setup, until I get further into it, I will get an error. It says error on a line of text that isnt even there. The line of text does not exists. Please let me know how I can correct this issue and get the program running right.

A: See, it is not correct to write " symbols within menuItems:

Q: I'm having a major problem centering html menu navigation in a table.
No matter what I try, the menu stays on the left ofthe table.
Do you have any suggestions?

A: To center the menu on your html page you should set the following
parameter and install the menu in the following way:

  var absolutePos=0;

Q: I have just bought the software and created a first menu.

As you can see the sub-menus appear away for the menu/navigation bar.

This doesnТt happen when I put the code into an .html file without any divs.

Can you suggest what the problem might be here?


A: The problem is that the script can't get css properties of the object if they are described in separate .css block (or file).
In other words, you can't get the value of "position" attribute of the object if the object doesn't have this property within inline style(style="position:absolute"). To get the value you should move .css style into style="" attribute.

Please, try to add your
css file -> inline css, for example:

You should add <DIV id=nav_bar_main>

to the

style="position:absolute;"

So, you'll have:

<DIV id=nav_bar_main style="position:absolute;">

Check that.
