Q: Just wondering if it's possible to have the sub menu of my collapsible dhtml menu that appear when the "+" is clicked stay open when another page loads. I tried downloading the trial version & can't get that to happen.

Click on "web development" and then "web design portfolio" - when the new page loads the menu closes. Is it possible to have it remember which sub menus were showing when the new page loads?

A: Deluxe Tree has save state feature. You should set the followingparameter:

Q: I found the problem with de Deluxe Menus:
When the menu is inside the <DIV> </DIV> tags, the menu is shown, but does not scroll.


A: See, you use absolute position for this <div>

<div STYLE="position:absolute;top:151px; left:0px">

But you can use absolute position for the menu. Your menu will scrollin this case.

For example, you should set:

And install your menu

Q: If I don't set   var tabMode=1 instead of   var tabMode=0 in drop menu maker the links will not work at all.

A: See in Deluxe Tabs there are two modes:
1.   var tabMode=0;
You can create only one level of tabs and assign Object Id's of theDIV's to show when you click on the tab.

You can use Object ID as well as Link in both modes. Use the following prefixes within item's link field:
"object:" - means that there is object id after it;
"link:" - means that there is a link after it.
"javascript:" - means that there is a javascript code after it, for example:javascript:alert(\'Hello!\')

Q: I have another question.. after I successfully click and load the data in to my window using the mouseover tab, the tab defaults back to the original default tab.
Because I have to reload my page after the tab has been selected the tab chosen is lost. What do you recommend for "remembering" the tab so that when the page reloads the correct tab is highlighted. I know that I need to set the   var bselectedItem but if you have a "nifty" way for me to do that I am all ears.

A: Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions which can return theselected tab aslo.

You can set "bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersbased on your link before you call your data file.

For example, move "  var bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersfrom your data file to your code.
