Q: We are looking at JavaScript libraries for our website, and we liked what we saw with your product deluxe-tabs. However, we have a need for both horizontal and vertical tabs, as well as nesting tabs. We would like the vertical (and nested tabs) to have the same capabilities and features as the horizontal tabs. We notive the vertical tab image example, but that was all we could find. Are there more extensive examples that show the same functionality as the horizontal tabs? Is the product, as is, capable of the same functionality for both vertical and horizontal tabs?


A: See, to create vertical tabs you should add '$' symbol before the itemtext in the first item of the next row.

You can use templates, add '$' symbol and adjust some parameters.


Q: I would like to know how to put items in on multiple lines for the horizontal navigation
(i.e. create a line feed), how do I tell my code to start a new menuitem on the NEXT line?

A: There are 2 ways to do that:

1) set

  var noWrap=0;

2) use <br> tags, for example:

  var menuItems = [
 ["|Here is where <br>I would like <br>to have a line<br> feed",,"","", "", "", "", "", "", "", "",],
];



Q: I like your product a lot. These are the features that, unfortunately, cannot be done and hope that you can address them. I will place the order right away if these are resolved:
1. For each individual item, allow attaching a customized javascript to fire up "onclick" and "nomouseover".

2. Allow using a variable size icon for each item.


A: 1. You're able to use Javascript for each item, for example:

  var tmenuitems = [

];

Unfortunately, you can't assign onmouseover event to each item.
However, you can achieve this by using standard html objects withinitems, for example:

  var tmenuitems = [
["<div onmouseover='your_code_here'>item text</div>", "index.html"]
];

2. DHTML Tree Menu uses constant icon size for all icons.
If you wantto use different icon dimensions, you can use standard <img>elements within items:

Q: I had test on php but I have problem with content "ABC-1" not show when run page first of the tab menu javascript, anh then I click it is show content.

A: Check parameter:

  var bselectedItem = 0;

Selected tab index by default. Index is an tab number in bmenuItems array.
