Javascript Menu. DHTML Menu.

  • Create contextual menus for your pages. For this purpose you should assign a special function for the object you want. The current coordinates of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the contextual menu.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. To see all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automatically scrolled! Q: In the drop down menu generator there's no option for turning the cursor into a hand. There's hourglass etc but no hand. Is there a way to make it a hand?

Q: So, I'm actually developing an application with wordpress, and I would like to intagrate this excellent javascript navigation menu.

This site is Educational, and provides media about TI, for students of the Autonom University of Tamaulipas, in Mexico.

A: Actually we're using Deluxe Menu in our WordPress blogs without anyproblems.

You should edit the php template of your theme.
1. Go to Design -> Theme Editor
Open header.php file
!! Notice that you should CHMOD header.php file to777 setting. Find more info here:

2. Upload folder with all menu files on your server
3. Add the following code in the <head> tag:

Q: I'm am try to use your Deluxe drop down menu generator and can not get it to work..

A: Unfortunately we don't have step by step tutorial yet.
We'll try to create it in the nearest time.

1. Create your menu in Deluxe Tuner.

When you open Deluxe Tuner you can click "File/New"and add items and subitems using buttons "Add Item" and "Add Subitem" onthe main window.
You should set items and subitems parameters on the "Item Parameters"window.

2. You should install the menu on your page.
You can click, for example, File/Export to HTML.

So, you'll have folder with all engine files and images("Deluxe-menu.files/" folder by default), Deluxe-menu.html file anddata-Deluxe-menu.js file with all menu parameters.

Open Deluxe-menu.html file in any text editor and copy several rows ofcode into your page (for example index.html page of your website).

Copy and paste several rows into your html page (index.html).
