A: You can do it in three ways now.

1) You can use API functions to generate items dynamically:

function dm_ext_createSubmenu (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, iParams)
function dm_ext_addItem (menuInd, submenuInd, iParams)

2) Use AJAX feature and create different .js files depend on company and user level.

3) Generate your menu items dynamically from database.
Unfortunately we don't have working example with ASP.

You may generate a menu from a database or XML using any server-side script, e.g., PHP, ASP, VB, etc.
However, these scripts don't work inside of Javascript .js files, so,
you should move parameters of a menu from a .js file into an html-page, e.g.:

Q: My problem is that the easy dropdown menu, as opposed to being in a fixed position
as stated in the .js file floats up and down with the page..How do I fix this..

A: You should set the following parameter to disable the floating feature:

  var floatable=0;

Q: How do I turn off the transitional effects for the dreamweaver drop down menu?

A: To turn off transitional effects you should set the following parameters:

  var transition=-1;

  var transDuration=0;
  var transDuration2=0;




Q: The plus symbols (+) for Home, PRODUCT CATALOG, and Back are almost non visible and I can not find a parameter to move the collapsible tree menu to the right or to put a border on the left side.


A: You set the following style:
