  • You can set the size of the menu in pixels, percent or other units. The menu may have an absolute or relative position (it can be inserted into the table).
  • Use any necessary font of any color, size and font decoration. Create any available type, thickness and color of a menu's frame.Choose any color for backgrounds of submenus and items.
  • Specify various values for padding and spacing for the whole menu and for each separate submenu.
  • You can specify a time for delays in showing or hiding of a submenu. Use special prefixes for image paths and links to make paths absolute.

A: You can create Sitemap for your menu using java menu software.

There is no such a feature in Deluxe Menus, you can create sitemap forthe menu only.



Q: We'd like to underline dhtml pop up menu items on hover but we can't do it with those spaces.

A: To set align for the one dhtml pop up menu item only you can use the following method:

instead of

["email a temp expert                               ","email.html", "", "", "", "", "15", "", "", "", "", ],

you can write:

["<div align=left>email a temp expert</div>","email.html", "", "", "", "", "15", "", "", "", "", ],

and set fontDecoration=none,underline style for this item:

Q: It all works great under IE, but when you view it in Firefox the fly-out menus (off of Products, Services & About Us) do not appear over the Flash animation to the right in IE.

It works fine under Firefox on all other pages apart form Home, because Home is the only page with containing the Flash animation.

Could you please have a look and let us know if this is a known issue (we're using the latest 8 dmenu .js file, time-stamped 11 April 2006).

Q: Do you have an extremely simple example of modifying a menu with the JavaScript API? I've played with the example on the site, but I have trouble removing the other menus without breaking it.

I just want to use the API to change the icon on the menu items.
