Q: I recently downloaded the trial version of Deluxe Tuner to create a pop-up menu for my website. The menu looks amazing, and I am convinced from the trial that this is a product that I could definitely use.
However, I'm having so much trouble putting my horizontal drop down menu into my Dreamweaver html. I've followed the instructions given, but my menu still does not appear. What am I doing wrong?
Thanks, and I'm looking forward to figuring this out, because if it's an easy program to use, I will for sure be buying the full version!!
A: Check that you've copied "Homedir/" folder with all menus files and data.js file into the same folder withHome page.html file.
Notice also that in the Design mode your drop down menu may displayincorrectly. It is normal. You should view your page in browser preview.Q: I'm having a problem with the new v3.9.2 javascript menu source. The drop-down submenus are now going "up" instead of "down".
I've tried the conversion steps in your email and I have even rebuilt the menu from scratch in v3.9.2. In the Deluxe Menu Preview window, the drop-down sub-menus behave properly - transitioning down below the horizontal menu. But it FireFox3, IE7 and Chrome the submenus appear above the horizontal menu.
Also... the transition effect (24 - Alpha Blend) only appears in IE7 - it is not evident in FireFox3 or in Chrome.
A: Set the following parameter:
var subMenuVAlign="top";
> Also... the transition effect (24 - Alpha Blend) only appears in IE7 - it is
> not evident in FireFox3 or in Chrome.
Transitional effects are features of Internet Explorer 5.5+ only.

I need to update the site and a create a new version where the Deluxe Menu is painted, but not initially displayed until the user has been validated. We are runing the entire site from a single page with multiple iFrames. I have been using the code document.getElementById('dm0m0').style.visibility = "hidden"; to hide the menu during startup, but I would rather have the floating menu hidden initially and then displayed as the user is validated and gain access to the functionality.
So the question is: Is there a property in the data.js file - or any other file - where the menu can be hidden initially until needed?
A: You can hide the menu onloaddocument.getElementById('dm0m0').style.visibility = "hidden";
And then show the floating menu when your user will be validated.Q: Hi there. I am evaluating your tabs before I purchase and I ran into a small problem. If I can get this resolved I am ready to purchase.
I need to be able to execute some javascript when I click on a tab. What I am planning on doing is I want to dynamically set the location.href property of an iFrame located inside of a content div.
I can't figure out how to do it. Any help will go a long way for me to decide to purchase. Thanks!
A: You can use your own javascript functions in the menu items.
You should paste "javascript:some_function()" into item's link field, for example:
["tab text","javascript: window.open('test.html', 'frameName')", ...],
or
["tab text","javascript: getURLForFrame()", ...],
Try that.
