I want to get a menu because I was asked to base a new web site on one that used 'showpage.asp' calls to createtheir menus. Can you throw some light on how I would go about doing that?


A: Deluxe Menu and Java Menus work on aclient side only and they don't depend on the server which you'reusing and they don't work on a server side as ASP.NET script.So, you can create the menu using standard html page and them movemenu code within .asp page.

Please, try the trial version of the menu. You can use GUI to createyour menu. You can find it in the trial package.


Q: But what mean the message "Incorrect Copyright" that you see on the javascript menu ie TABS on our website? Because we did the solution that you described in the original message that I copy you below. In some computers appears this messages in other not.

Q: I have a problem. How can we get the value of a parameter passed by the menu, when a menu item is clicked? For example I want to get the URL or file name to be open by the menu item when it is clicked.

A: If you want to open url or a file when you click on items of the tree menu you can write, for example:
