Q: I'm having a problem displaying a little white icon arrow on my dhtml foldout menu. I us Adobe Dreamweaver to build my site. When previewing, I found that adding . /.. to the .js file works good and it displays the arrows. But when I Put the menu on the internet it goes back to displaying a blank box like it can t find it again. My menu is in my site's root directory, and I would like to control all my site's pages with it. I am going to have a basic template for the whole site with the dhtml foldout menu on it and I am to building all the pages from that.

If I don't change the link to ../../ the only pages that will work is the one that is in the same directory as my menu files.

A: Try to use absolute paths to your images on the website. Your menu will work correctly inall cases in that case.

Q: Can I show / hide the javascript floating menu as needed.

A: You should paste javascript code into item's link field of the floating menu,for example:

Q: I want to set up dhtml tab on my page, and have HTML code inside the tab,
rather than have the tab be a link.
I'm having trouble figuring this out. Can you help?
In other words, when a user clicks on a tab, I want a table to display below
the tabs instead of it being a link.

You can use Object ID as well as Link in both modes. Use the following prefixes within item's link field:
"object:" - means that there is object id after it;
"link:" - means that there is a link after it.

Q: I would eventually like to be able to distribute the javascript navigation menu with some of my templates, is this permitted with the Developer license?

A: With the Developer license you can use the menu on an unlimited numberof Internet or Intranet sites and on the local machines.

This version of the script doesn't check keys and it isn't bound to a domain name,so it can be used with an application that doesn't have a fixed domain name.
