Q: I'm a registered user. I'm looking to make a space between dhtml cross browser menu buttons, I checked the FAQ which suggested using ["-"], between items but it didn't work. It deleted the dhtml cross browser menu items below it. I'm looking to put a space between

A: To add a separator you should

You can create separators using menuItems (you can do it in Deluxe
Tuner, use "Add separator" button), for example:

Q: Images don't appear in my menu.


A: Now you have two lines:

and

<SCRIPT type=text/javascript>  var dmWorkPath = "../side_menu.files/";</SCRIPT>

But you should have only one line.
Please, check it.


Q: Also, when viewing the webpage with the dhtml list menu, my browser tells me that it is blocking scripts and ActiveX applications. I have to override it. Is there a way to prevent this so my customers don't get this message, or will it go away when I post it to my domain?

A: You should adjust your browser settings.

Tools/Internet Options/Advanced Options/

and set
"Allow active content from files to run on My Computer".

There is no way to enable these preferences automatically, in othercase there are no reasons to create security preferences.



Q: How do you center the text within the top-level menu cels for the xml drop down menu?
There doesn't seem to be a setting for it in the tuner.
There's a justification option for the sub-menus, but not for the top.

A: Use the following parameter to specify align for the top items:

  var itemAlignTop="center";
