  • Use a mouse to move a menu as a usual window. Also you can create the menu where each submenu can be "separated" from the menu (MS Office toolbar-like mode).
  • When the page is scrolled the menu remains visible. The menu can "float" along one or two coordinate axes.
  • There can be multilevel menus - create as many rows of the menu as necessary. Any submenu in its turn can include different number of columns.

Q: Hi There. I wanted to use your product, but couldn’t figure out how multiple users could get varying menus using the file driven approach.

I currently use a java menu that I build on the fly without any files.

The only thing I could come up with was having each user refer to his/her own data.js file, that I can build on demand.
Does that make sense to you?


A: Deluxe Menu is Javascript code only. It requires several .js files andit's generated on a client side.

Theoretically it is possible to have varying menus for multiple users.You should create your own server-side script (for example, php) thatwill change the menu for your users. The menu doesn't support such afeature.


Q: I am trying to evaluate the trial version of deluxepopup window.
The script popup works great but I am having a specific requirement of making it amodal window; i.e. when the popup is opened, users shouldn't be allowed to access the main page. Please let me know how to make this happen.

A: Unfortunately it is not possible to create modal window using Deluxe Popup Window.It doesn't have such a feature now.

We'll try to add this feature in the next versions.

Q: After I create that submenu I want to move those items up or down within that submenu in the javascript editor.


A: Do you want to move your subitems within Deluxe Tuner?

To move items select items you want and use a mouse drag'n'drop method.

To copy items select those you want and use a mouse drag'n'drop method holding a Ctrl key.
Also you can use a contextual menu - a right mouse click on the list of items.


Q: I can't get drop down navigation menu to centre in the table..
I want it to - which is just below the header flash
Could you let me know what to do


A: Now you're using absolute position for Deluxe Menu:

  var absolutePos=1;

You should use relative position:

  var absolutePos=0;

Try that.
