Q: I have noticed an issue with the menu. Dhtml pop up menu does not drop down over the frame if a pdf is being displayed. It does something weird to the browser like shortens the main frame and displays above the menu.

A: Notice that you should add your pdf inside IFRAME tag.

Try to set the following parameter to overlap .pdf files:

  var useIFRAME=1;

Q: I would like to buy the OEM license with the sources.

But for redistribution I would like to use the obfuscated scripts.

Do I get both type of menu & javascript when buying the OEM license of 499 dollar?

A: Yes, of course, the redistributable Developer License comes with bothsource and obfuscated files.
Moreover you're not allowed to redistribute the source version of scriptwith your application. The sources are for use inside your company only.



Q: Thanks, we tried giving   var pressedItem=0; and the script as below:

We are facing 2 problems

1) Two menus are getting highlighted, the "Home" and the dynamic html menu which is called onLoad using dm_ext_setPressedItem (0,8,0,0); function)

2) The submenu of the dm_ext_setPressedItem (0,8,0,0) is not getting highlighted.

A: Try to set
  var pressedItem=-2;

dm_ext_setPressedItem function has a following parameters:
function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion, parentOpen)

So, if you want to highlight item in the submenu you should use itemInd of this item (notitemInd of the parent item).

For example you want to highlight submenu item of the 'Manage Users' parent item with
itemInd=15.

So you should write the function in the following way:
dm_ext_setPressedItem (0, 3, 15, 1, 1)

menuInd = 0 if you have only one menu on the page
submenuInd = 3, see how to determine submenuInd in the table

Q: As a follow up, please could you take a look at the attached images and let us know if there are any settings within the javascript drop menu files set within the previous mail that would make the 1st sub menu indent a couple of pixels when the 2nd sub menu sits correctly.

A: This is space to document borders. We've set this space, so that yoursubmenus will not look like the part of browser window. If you wantyou can delete that space.

Open dmenu.js file in any text editor and find the following code:

space=15;

Change 15 to 0.
