Q: I am trying to implement Deluxe Menu 2.0 on a .aspx-page.
However the Norwegian characters are not showed correctly. (only in the menu)
What do I need to do?
It works fine with the old version of Deluxe Menu in our normal asp-pages.
A: When you call data .js file you can try to specify the encoding:
< SCRIPT src="Dansk Aktionarforening11_files/data.js" charset="UTF-8"> </SCRIPT>
or
<SCRIPT src="Dansk Aktionarforening11_files/data.js" charset="ISO-8859-1"> </SCRIPT>
Try that.
Q: I am having a lot of trouble trying to get the menu to work properly. I want to make sure that I get it working before I make the licesning purchase.
The menu is to be CSS based but while I have the main menu somewhat in location, none of the settings are correct. Can you help?
A: See, the problem is that the script can't get css properties of the object if they are described in separate .css block (or file).
To get the value you should move .css style into style="POSITION: relative;" attribute.
Please, try to add your
css file -> inline css
Try to write so:
<DIV id=if-navbar style="POSITION: relative;">
Q: I would like when I click on what ever link of the php dhtml menu that the visited link stay in a different color and with a different background
A: Deluxe Tree doesn't save a presseditem as it saves a tree state. It works within 1 page only and if youreload the page you should set a pressed item using Javascript API:
function dtreet_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, itemID)

Q: We bought a Delux Tab single site licence yesterday.We can't figure out how to implement tab menus into our web site.

A: In Deluxe Tabs there are two modes:
1. var tabMode=0;
You can create only one level of tabs and assign Object Id's of theDIV's to show when you click on the tab.

You can use Object ID as well as Link in both modes. Use the following prefixes within item's link field:
"object:" - means that there is object id after it;
"link:" - means that there is a link after it.
"javascript:" - means that there is a javascript code after it, for example:javascript:alert(\'Hello!\')
So, you should write for example:
