  • Build right-click menus for your site. For this purpose you should appoint a peculiar method for the object you want. The current X,Y of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the context menu.
  • Design menus absolutely based on CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). It is possible to apply the personal CSS styles for every elements of the menu.
  • When the submenu is bigger than the visible page area, the size of submenu will be automatically decreased. To view all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automagically scrolled! Q: Would it be possible to introduce more font decoration options to the mouseover variables for the horizontal navigation?I would like to add bold as a mouseover font decoration, but obviously this is not possible at the moment.


A: Unfortunately, Deluxe Menu doesn't have such a feature.
You can onlyset it's color. You cannot set the font of menu item bold when selected.

You should addthe following code in your data file:

Q: The menus I am trying to change, it seems as though the transparency is too light. Where in the java menu generator do you reduce some of the transparency? Thanks.

A: Use the following parameter in the java menu generator:

Q: I just noticed another problem: when I set dmObjectsCheck=1 and I click on a menu-item of the dropdown menu nothing happens! No matter whether the banner is flash or not. And no matter if the browser is IE or Firefox. As soon as I set dmObjectsCheck=0 the submenu works again.


A: You should set the following parameter

  var dmObjectsCheck=1;

You should also add dmenu_add.js file into the folder with yourdmenu.js file.
Please, check it.


Q: I have another question.. after I successfully click and load the data in to my window using the mouseover tab, the tab defaults back to the original default tab.
Because I have to reload my page after the tab has been selected the tab chosen is lost. What do you recommend for "remembering" the tab so that when the page reloads the correct tab is highlighted. I know that I need to set the   var bselectedItem but if you have a "nifty" way for me to do that I am all ears.

A: Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions which can return theselected tab aslo.

You can set "bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersbased on your link before you call your data file.

For example, move "  var bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersfrom your data file to your code.
