A: Check your z-index for <DIV id=navigation>.
Try to write it, for example, so:

<DIV id=navigationstyle="Z-INDEX: 10; LEFT: 0px; WIDTH: 170px; POSITION: absolute; TOP: 5px; HEIGHT: 600px">

Q: My second “drop down” column of the milonic dhtml menu goes up instead of down like the rest..Can you tell me how to correct this?


A: Try to set the following parameter:

  var subMenuVAlign="bottom";

Q: The buttons show up just fine in IE, but not in the other browsers. I am using Frontpage for my html.


A: Your file names are incorrect.
For example, now you have:
Button gold side 2 NEW.GIF
Button purple side 2 NEW.GIF

Firefox and Opera cannot open a file with blanks in the name.

Please, rename your files, for example:

Button_gold_.GIF
Button_purple.GIF

Your menu will work fine.


Q: I am having a lot of trouble trying to get the menu to work properly. I want to make sure that I get it working before I make the licesning purchase.

The menu is to be CSS based but while I have the main menu somewhat in location, none of the settings are correct. Can you help?


A: See, the problem is that the script can't get css properties of the object if they are described in separate .css block (or file).
To get the value you should move .css style into style="POSITION: relative;" attribute.

Please, try to add your
css file -> inline css

Try to write so:
<DIV id=if-navbar style="POSITION: relative;">
