Q: I use menu with color graphic buttons, I believe the color buttons locate in @BOOK1\@Test_BOOK1.files.
At this directory level(please look in Book1.zip), the display is OK,

However, if I click on "06) Introduction.to.Small-Signal.Amplifiers\<>>(06_IT.htm)" to move to the next level, the color buttons will not display properly.

Can I set pointer that tells file 06_IT.htm that I have "@Test_BOOK1.files" in "@BOOK1" folder?


A: You can use additional parameters to make menu paths absolute:

  var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
  var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";

These parameters allow to make images and links paths absolute.
For example:

  var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
  var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";

  var menuItems = [
["text", "index.html", "icon1.gif", "icon2.gif"],
];

So, link path will be look so:
http://domain.com/pages/index.html

Images paths will be look so:
http://domain.com/images/icon1.gif
http://domain.com/images/icon2.gif

Q: I've recently purchased and implemented your menu. While it's definitely very good, I have a small issue I'm hoping you can help me resolve.

When running over regular http, the menu drops down and shows in front of any form select dropdowns as it should. However, when running over SSL (https), the menu shows up with the form select box in front of it.

Any help for fixing this would be greatly appreciated.

Q: For any reason dropdown menu in javascript know shows incorrect accented characters.

A: You can save your data file in UTF-8 in Windows version of DeluxeTuner v3.2.7.

You should turn on "Tools/Use utf8 encode" property.
In that case your data file will be saved in UTF-8 encode.

Enter these symbols and save your data file.

If you don't want to use UTF-8 encode on your page you should turn off"Tools/Use utf8 encode" property, save your data file and manuallychange your letters in any text editor.

You can also replace your letters with special sets, for example
&Eacute; - Capital E, acute accent - E
&ccedil; - Small c, cedilla - c

Q: Is it possible for a javascript navigation barr item to have an associated "target"?

What I mean is I'd like to be able to open the page in a new window, so I'd need to specify the href as well as "target=_new" (in HTML anyway).
