  • Apply any font of any color, size and font decoration you need. Use any available type, color and thickness of a menu's frame. Choose any color for submenus and items backgrounds.

Q: I bought today and followed the procedure to download and install the same. It seems, Calender option is not available in the downloaded javascript menu generator package. Do I have download anything separate for that? Would you please let me know as soon as possible.

A: We haven't added Calendar in Deluxe Tuner.You can find it in the installed package:

C:\Program Files\Deluxe Menus\сalendar\



Q: I’ve tried every configuration available—absolute and relativepositioning and so on. I can’t get the menus to display correctly.

I have to offset the topDX by -150 and so on just to fudge it into a CLOSE position…it certainly doesn’t mirror the preview window


A: See, the problem is that the script can't get css properties of the object if they are described in separate .css block (or file).
In other words, you can't get the value of "position" attribute of the object if the object doesn't have this property within inline style(style="position:absolute"). To get the value you should move .css style into style="" attribute.

Please, try to add your

css file -> inline css, for example:

You should add style="position:absolute;"

to the

<DIV id=navholder>

So, you'll have:

<DIV id=navholder style="position:absolute;">


Q: We are having a bit of trouble with your menu, when you go down into a sub menu, and then back to the item that called it, the sub menu expands.

For example, if i have this menu structure

File
     New
     Save
     Exit

When i MouseOver New and then MouseOver File, the menu containing New, Save and Exit will grow. If i keep doing this then the menu will continue to expand horizontally.

I know its something we have done, since there doesn't seem to be a problem on your site, its just i don't know what it is


A: Rozi, we heard about such problems. I suppose that you see such effectin IE.

Please, try not to use shadow in the menu.
Please, set this parameter:
  var shadowLen=0;

We'll correct this bug soon.

Try also write all units in "px", for example:

  var itemPadding = "3px";


Q: What do you recommend for "remembering" the tab in the js tab menu,
so that when the page reloads the correct tab is highlighted.

A: Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions which can return theselected tab aslo.

You can set "bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersbased on your link before you call your data file.

For example, move "  var bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersfrom your data file to your code.

You should define seltabs and selsmtabs using server side script.
