Q: I am trying to create a tab menu and I have some questions. I want a tab menu that has four tabs. Each tab is a different image, the normal and hover state uses the same image and the selected state uses a different image. This will be applied to all four tabs. All the tabs will not have any text on them because the image will already have text on it. This tab menu will not have a submenu but will use <div id> tags to populate information when a certain javascript menu master tab is selected.
I am having difficulty trying to create this type of tab menu to work with the Deluxe Tuner. Each time I try to make an image as a tab that image is applied to all javascript menu master tabs which I do not want. I want each tab to have a different image.
Please advice how I can do this.
A: If you want to use different images you should use Individual ItemStyles and assign them for your tabs.

Q: We've used your deluxe menu on a few sites without any issues. We are trying a new site javascript menu system now and having an issue with beforeItemImage and afterItemImage. Below is our data javascript class. The dropdown seems fine in Firefox but the before and after Images are not showing up in Internet Explorer.
We've tried a number of things and can't quite get the tabbed corners in IE. Any suggestions would be greatly appreicated, we need to get this menu live soon for a client of ours. Thank you in advance.
A: Try to specify width and height parameters:

We've checked your page in IE6, IE7, IE8. All images displayed correctly.Q: I looked through your FAQ's to solve my problem of trying to make the background of the top dhtml slide menu transparent. I set the itemBackColor to transparent and also menuBackColor to transparent. Do I have to changeanother setting to activate this? Right now it is currently white and I can't even find a spot that would make it white, unless it's just white by default.
A: Check that you haven't set background color in the Individual Styles.Q: I evaluated Deluxe Menu over the weekend and I really like it. I believe I'll be buying it this week. I have one question. Is it possible for the menu to be aware of what page you have selected and highlight the corresponding menu item on that page.
A: You should set a pressed item using Javascript API:
function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion)
Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.
But notice, to use dm_ext_setPressedItem() you should know ID of selected item and subitem.
You can't get this ID after you reload your page. That is why you should write your own code on PHP.
