  • Apply any font of any color, size and font decoration you need. Use any available type, color and thickness of a menu's frame. Choose any color for submenus and items backgrounds.
  • Set the size of the menu in percent, pixels, or other units. This menu may have a relative (it can be inserted into the table, for example) or absolute position .
  • Specify various values for spacing and padding for the whole menu and for each separate submenu.

Q: How do you center the text within the top-level menu cels in the menu java script?
There doesn't seem to be a setting for it in the tuner. There's a justification option for the sub-menus, but not for the top.

A: Use the following parameter to specify align for the top items:

  var itemAlignTop="center";



Q: Is there any way of setting the height of individual items in a vertical menu as I need to have some buttons bigger than others.


A: You can use <br> tags in the item text.

For example:

Q: Can you please tell me what is wrong with the second level of java file menu not lining up at the top of the screen? Admin --> Organization Information --> Providers is dropped down too far. (testimage.bmp attached) (css attached) (javascript attached) Also the desktop menu is not flushed all the way to the left, can you tell me why that is?

A: This is space to document borders. We've set this space, so that yoursubmenus will not look like the part of browser window. If you wantyou can delete that space.

Open dmenu.js file in any text editor and find the following code:

space=15;

Change 15 to 0.

space=0;

Try that.



Q: I would like to know how to put items in on multiple lines for the horizontal navigation
(i.e. create a line feed), how do I tell my code to start a new menuitem on the NEXT line?

A: There are 2 ways to do that:

1) set

  var noWrap=0;

2) use <br> tags, for example:

  var menuItems = [
 ["|Here is where <br>I would like <br>to have a line<br> feed",,"","", "", "", "", "", "", "", "",],
];
