  • Build right-click menus for your site. For this purpose you should appoint a peculiar method for the object you want. The current X,Y of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the context menu.
  • Design menus absolutely based on CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). It is possible to apply the personal CSS styles for every elements of the menu.
  • When the submenu is bigger than the visible page area, the size of submenu will be automatically decreased. Q: I've just updated my menu from 2.4 to 3.2. All is fine except two of my java script pop up menu (vertical) appear on the left instead of the right, all the others pop out to the right as before. I've tried saving it as a completely different file name, same problem, both within a browser and within your preview pane.

Any help would be much appreciated, I'm at a loss.

A: You can try to change the following parameter:

  var subMenuAlign="left";

Q: Is it possible that a menuitem of the js dropdown menu stays highlighted after clicking and loading the new html site?


A: The menu has only two states normal and mouseover. We'll try to add the pressed state in the future.

You can set a pressed item using Javascript API:

function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion)

Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.

But notice, to use dm_ext_setPressedItem() you should know ID of selected item and subitem.
You can't get this ID after you reload your page. That is why you should write your own code on PHP.

You can also set the correct
  var pressedItem=1;
parameter on each html page.



Q: First, i like the time I save with this program, but it isn't going to help me that much if I can't put the menu where I want it on my page.

No matter how I set the "positioning", it shows up in exactly the same place over and over. I've put it in table cells, I've given it absolute positioning... none of it matters.


A: If you want to center the menu paste itwithin the <div> or <table> with a static position and specify a center alignment for it, for example:

Please, set exact value for   var menuWidth parameter, for example:

This can help to align your menu correctly in all browsers.
Try also to specify units in "px".
Set also:
  var absolutePos = 0;

A: Yes, it is possible.
To set transparence for submenus you should set the followingparameter:
