Q: I am evaluating your product and would like to display my top menu without a border, but have the dropdown (child menus) all have a border and shadow.
If I change the menuBorderWidth to anything but 0, I get a menu on both the top menus and dropdowns. I need a topBorderWidth and a childBorderWidth.

Is there any way to accomplish this?


A: Yes, you can do it.

Please, set:

  var menuBorderWidth=0;

To set border for submenus you should use Individual Submenu styles, for example:

You should assign style for the first item in the submenu.


Q: Can I use drop down navigation menu using subfolders? I am trying to build amenu system but the website contains a lot of subfolders.


A: Yes, you can use deluxe-menu on the site with a lot of subfolders.

You can use additional parameters to make menu paths absolute:

  var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
  var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";
These parameters allow to make images and links paths absolute.
For example:

  var pathPrefix_img = "http://domain.com/images/";
  var pathPrefix_link = "http://domain.com/pages/";

  var menuItems = [
["text", "index.html", "icon1.gif", "icon2.gif"],
];

So, link path will be look so:
http://domain.com/pages/index.html

Images paths will be look so:
http://domain.com/images/icon1.gif
http://domain.com/images/icon2.gif

Please, try to use these parameters.



Q: I would like to know how to put the items for the popup menu on multiple lines (i.e. create a line feed), how do I tell my code to start a new menu item on the NEXT line?

A: There are 2 ways to do that:

1. set

2. use
tags, for example:

Q: Hi, I purchased your deluxe-menu product and it's working great, the only problem I'm having is the tree menu in javascript is always fully expanded when a new customer enters the site. I've looked through your support blog but I can't find a reason for it.

A: Check that parameter:

  var texpanded = 0;

It expands all items by default.
