  • Apply any font of any color, size and font decoration you need. Use any available type, color and thickness of a menu's frame. Choose any color for submenus and items backgrounds.
  • Set the size of the menu in percent, pixels, or other units. This menu may have a relative (it can be inserted into the table, for example) or absolute position .
  • Specify various values for spacing and padding for the whole menu and for each separate submenu.
  • You can specify a time for delays in showing or hiding of a submenu. Use special prefixes for image paths and links to make paths absolute.

Q: I'm interesting in dhtml menue ability to display a different color word on a menu item when the site is on that selected page

A: The menu has only two states normal and mouseover. We'll try to add the pressed state in the future.

You can set a pressed item using Javascript API:

function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion)

Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.

But notice, to use dm_ext_setPressedItem() you should know ID of selected item and subitem. You can't get this ID after you reload your page. That is why you should write your own code on PHP.

Q: We need to place a vertical menu on the right of our page, and have the subnav options popout on the LEFT of the vertical navbar.
Can you script handle this?

Q: I can not figure out how to get drop-down menus to show up in the Add-Ins on my Microsoft Front Page.

A: Deluxe Menu wasn't developed as Dreamweaver/Microsoft Front Page extension,
BUT you can use it as standard Javascript files. To install the menu
into your html page:

1. open the page in Dreamweaver/Frontpage
2. open html source code of the page
3. add several rows of code (<script> tags).

Notice also that some web editors won't display correctly javascript menus,
