Q: Hello, I am interesting in purchasing your product, but first I need to know if it is possible to call a JavaScript function from the menu.  I have read the FAQ and noted where it lists that you can perform an alert call, and that worked on my end as well, but when I attempted to call a function I created I could not get it to respond.  Is it possible to call a function from your menu?  Could I get an example?


A: You can write your own functions within menuItems, for example:

Q: I'm trying to sell a client on using Deluxe Menu but one complaint is that the text is not centered in the menu pad and I can't find a function in Deluxe Tuner which allows for centering.
I've downloaded the latest version but it didn't help.


A: You should set the following parameter to center your top items:

  var itemAlignTop="center";


Q: I need to set individual itemtargets for a number of menu script items......

example:-

menuitem_1 targets the Main frame..

   SUBmenuitem_2_(1) targets the Top frame..

A: You can set target parameter for all items:
  var itemTarget="_blank";
or
  var itemTarget="main";

Where main - is the name of the main frame where you want to open the link.

or for each item individually:

Q: Can a drop down menu go over a Flash and be transparent?Let me know.
