Q: I'm in search for a product like "Deluxe Menu".
Before buying your software, I'd need to know if I can use images (eg *.jpgs) within rollover drop menu instead of just text; my menu items need to be images. Does "Deluxe Menu" support this?
A: Yes, you can create image-based rollover drop menu.
If item text is empty, icon fields will be used as item images.
For example:

Q: I am trying to implement Deluxe Menu 2.0 on a .aspx-page.
However the Norwegian characters are not showed correctly. (only in the menu)
What do I need to do?
It works fine with the old version of Deluxe Menu in our normal asp-pages.
A: When you call data .js file you can try to specify the encoding:

or
<SCRIPT src="Dansk Aktionarforening11_files/data.js" charset="ISO-8859-1"> </SCRIPT>
Try that.
Q: Why is the submenu a different colour has a different colour than menu items - surely that's not an IE specific feature? The top-level menu items seem to be a different size too, so the layout in IE looks more even.
A: Submenus has a different color because they have a transparency:
var transparency="90";
Set it to 100.
Submenus also have larger width than top items because they containsmore text. If you want to wrap the text, use
tag between item words.
Q: Will the .js file dhtml menu script still be obfuscated with the purchased version of Deluxe Menu?
I'll need to tweak the final script to create the menus I want so this would make a big difference in my decision to purchase.
