  • Create contextual menus for your pages. For this purpose you should assign a special function for the object you want. The current coordinates of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the contextual menu.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. Q: Im working on a menu with your program, and am unable to make the javascript sticky menu save the hover states after you move off the navigation item and onto its child nav items.

For example

-Example Sub Nav item 1
-Example Sub Nav item 2

When I hover on the Example Nav Item 1, the hover state works, but when I move my mouse down (Im using a horizontal javascript sticky menu) to select Example Sub Nav item 1, I want the hover state to stay selected on the "parent" Nav Item. Is this possible? What is the variable you have to change to accomplish this?

A: Yes, it's possible, please use

  var saveNavigationPath = 1; The javascript sticky menu keeps items highlighted during menu navigation.
0 - disabled, 1 - enabled (default).



Q: Does horizontal drop down menu works with JSP? How can I do that?


A: Deluxe Menu is the Javascript product. It means that it works on aclient side only and it doesn't depend on the server which you'reusing and it doesn't work on a server side as JSP script.
So, you can create the menu using standard html page and them movemenu code within .jsp page.

How do I change the font style for java menu templates to 9pt Verdana bold, but leave the sub-menus 9pt Verdana normal? I understand there’s a "fontStyle" variable, but is there an "itemfontStyle"? A: You can use Individual Item styles to set specific parameters for eachitem or submenu.

2., 4. You should specify itemPadding parameter in "px". You shouldadd "px" in your style for subitems:

Notice also that you can set multiple value for itemPadding parameter,for example:

4. You should set the exact width for the java menu templates:

and set width for the top items using Individual styles:

Q: I need to load a tab page and have the correct javascript menu rollover tab showing based on a variable that is available when the page loads. How do I get the tab to change to a different tab then the one defined in the configuration file?

A: Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions which can return theselected javascript menu rollover tab.

You can set "bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersbased on your link before you call your data file.

For example, move "  var bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersfrom your data file to your code.
