Recent Questions

Q: The "drop down" menus go above the mouseover javascript menu, not below. I want them to go down. That's why it's a DROP DOWN menu and not a DROP UP menu.

And I tried the "  var subMenuVAlign="bottom";" command as per your user database forum and it doesn't work.

So the problem is elsewhere....

BTW, I did not have this problem on the trial version, it appeared after I installed your js files in the scripts directory and the key in the data.js file

A: You should set the following parameter for mouseover javascript menu:

  var subMenuVAlign="top";



Q: I got the menu to display across frames, but it displays differently in Firefox & Mozillavs. Internet Explorer. Is that to be expected?

In The Mozilla-based browsers, the submenu butts right upunder the main menu – which is how I want it. In IE, it is about 10 pixels below.

Also, I can’t get the submenus to drop down directly under the main menus – they are offset by about 100 pixels to the right.

A: The problem is in a structure of your frameset.
Mozilla browsers can't determine absolute coordinates for a frame, sosubmenus drop down with an offset.

You should create the following frameset structure:

--|------------
   | menu
--|------------
   |
   | submenus
   |

Now a top row has 2 columns and all browsers can determine awidth of the 1st column in the second row.



Q: Is it possible to use this easy drop down menu as a static HTML form element so it does not behave like a link but its value is posted with other form elements on submit?

A: You are able to paste any html code within items.
So you can paste a form too.

Q: Ich habe ein Problem mit submenus. Es erscheint, dass es eine Grenze auf der Breite eines submenu Punkt undals ein concequence gibt, wenn Sie den Punkt herumdrehen, zwingt es den Kasten, nach rechts zu rollen.
