A: If you want to have 1 state button, please, go to "Edit IndividualStyle"/Item Styles. Click on the style "Top Item" and in bothitemBackImage fields you should write btn_black.gif.

So in your data file you will have such code:

Q: I would like to create my own jpeg images and use them as the mouseover-items in the top level drop down menus. I am not talking about the backround. I mean the actual upfront button.
I seem to be locked into the size which is the default and would like to change it to width = 180px and height = 45px for each item in the menu.
Is there any way to do that?


A: You should create Individual Style and assign it for all top items.

Q: We are facing some problem, in our css drop menu. Please Advise -

When we used "Helvetica" font in deluxe menu, the css drop menu expand, if the above font not installed in user machine.

I would please request you to kindly assist me on the same as the client is getting impatient.

A: It is normal behaviour if there is no such font on the user machine.

You can try to write fonts in the following way:
"fontStyle='bold 12px HelveticaNeue Condensed, Trebuchet MS','bold 12px HelveticaNeue Condensed, Trebuchet MS'"

Find another font similar to your font and write it through a comma.If there will be no HelveticaNeue Condensed font on the user machinethe font will be Trebuchet MS.

You should choose the second font among the following fonts:
Arial
Tahoma
Times New Roman
Trebuchet MS
Verdana
These fonts are installed on the most of windows computers.



Q: I want to remove the "Loading...", message when using AJAX to load pull down menu nodes. This is because it does not fit in with my colour scheme and sometimes it stays there when no more nodes are loaded.

A: Open dmenu_ajax.js file in any text editor.
