  • Create contextual menus for your pages. For this purpose you should assign a special function for the object you want. The current coordinates of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the contextual menu.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. To see all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automatically scrolled! Q: I am trying to setup a popup tab menu like the one that you have on top part of your web pages (containing items; "Home", "Product Info", "Sample"...).

Right now I am using <div id=""> tag to load everything and break the content into each tab, but it is taking a long time to load everything first then break them down into tabs. So I thought maybe having each tab's content in each page, and have a link to each page would be more efficient. But when I put a link for each tab, for example "link:www.google.com" I get an javascript error saying "tabs[...].id is null or not an object". When I test this straight from Deluxe Tuner, I get the same message.

Can you tell me what I am doing wrong here? Or is there any better way to solve my problem? Thanks in advance.

A: Check that you have style=" visibility: hidden;" for your DIVs

Q: With menu tabs, I'm trying to dynamically set the bselectedItem parm, using php. If I set bselectedItem to anything other than 0, the submenu goes away and the main html tab javascript is not highlighted.
If I set to 0, everything works.


A: See, if you use Tab Mode
  var tabMode = 1;

  var bselectedItem = 0; //main items
  var bselectedSmItem = -1; //submenus

So you should set:
  var bselectedItem = 0; //main items (0;7;14;21;25)
  var bselectedSmItem = -1; //submenus (1;2;3;4;5....)


Q: Will tab titles ever automatically wrap?

Is there a way to force a wrap of a tab title in a tab menu java?


A: No, unfortunately, tab menu cannot wrap item text automatically.
But you can use
tag within item text, for example

Q: This is a great product and I hope to use it for the project I am currently working on. I have played around with using simple javascript menu but have been unable to figure out how to make sub menu items live on multiple rows and columns. Could you point me in the right direction? I know with the individual styles I could make the category titles bold and put sub categories right underneath without actually making them sub categories.
