  • Use a mouse to move a menu as a usual window. Also you can create the menu where each submenu can be "separated" from the menu (MS Office toolbar-like mode).
  • When the page is scrolled the menu remains visible. The menu can "float" along one or two coordinate axes.

A: No, there is no such a feature in Deluxe Menu v3.2.7.

You can write your item in the following way:
 ["|<a href='http://www.domain.com'>test test test</a>",""],

But you should assign style for this link.
A.link {

}

Q: I like your product a lot. These are the features that, unfortunately, cannot be done and hope that you can address them. I will place the order right away if these are resolved:
1. For each individual item, allow attaching a customized javascript to fire up "onclick" and "nomouseover".

2. Allow using a variable size icon for each item.


A: 1. You're able to use Javascript for each item, for example:

  var tmenuitems = [
["item text", "javascript:your_code_here"]
];

Unfortunately, you can't assign onmouseover event to each item.
However, you can achieve this by using standard html objects withinitems, for example:

  var tmenuitems = [
["<div onmouseover='your_code_here'>item text</div>", "index.html"]
];

2. DHTML Tree Menu uses constant icon size for all icons.
If you wantto use different icon dimensions, you can use standard <img>elements within items:

Q: I already have your product.  I need to know if I can call js functions using the .js file in java menu sample.


A: You can use your own javascript functions in the menu items.

You should paste "javascript:some_function()" into item's link field, for example:

];

  var menuItems = [
["item text", "javascript:alert('Hello World')", , , , ,]
];


Q: I would like to know how to put items in on multiple lines for the horizontal navigation
(i.e. create a line feed), how do I tell my code to start a new menuitem on the NEXT line?

A: There are 2 ways to do that:

1) set

  var noWrap=0;

2) use <br> tags, for example:

  var menuItems = [
 ["|Here is where <br>I would like <br>to have a line<br> feed",,"","", "", "", "", "", "", "", "",],
];
