Q: Where do I increase the width of the javascript menu bars for each entry? Some of my links are a bit longer than the image and it's causing it to use part of another gif to cover it. Sorry not sure if I even explained that right. Let me know if this makes sense.

A: I suppose that you're using Vista style templates.

The width of vista images is 94px. If the width of your menu itemis wider than 94px you should correct the width of the images in anygraph editor, for example in Photoshop. You should set the width ofthese images 120px and set the following parameter:

Q: Could you please help me with another question?

I am using your regular dhtml menu inside an asp page.
I want to make a call to different javascripts with parameters from different menu items (Which should work fine.. )

I have now been trying to do this by using the alert() java metod....

This line works perfect:
 ["|Test A","javascript:alert('Test');", "", "", "", "", "0", "-1", "", ],

But if I try to write the same line within ASP brachets ( <% %> ) the menu does not show up:

response.Write( " ['|Test A','javascript:alert('Test');', '', '', '', '', '0', '-1', '', ], " )

I have also found that if I remove the parameter inside the javascript like this:

response.Write( " ['|Test A','javascript:alert();', '', '', '', '', '0', '-1', '', ], " )

the menu will show up and the script will work but since I can not insert any parameter it is pointless..

How can I achieve this?

Q: How can make dhtml tabs to open internet link in the same window?


A: You should set the following paramter in your data.js file (file, created in Deluxe Tuner),
where your tab-menu parameters (vars) and items (  var bmenuItems) are placed.

  var bitemTarget = "_blank";

Default target for all items ("_self","_blank","_parent","_top",...).
If equal to "" - defined as "_self".

Or you can set target parameter in your data file using Deluxe Tuner:
"Tab mode" section in the menu parameters list.




Q: I used your trial version. In my application, I need one column of submenu to be displayed, all other columns should be closed.


A: You should adjust the following parameters, for example you should write so:

  var transDuration=350; //Delay of a transitional effect (in ms) on submenu's showing.

  var transDuration2=200; //Delay of a transitional effect (in ms) on submenu's hiding.
