Q: I have some problems with Deluxe Tree.
I have set the   var tlevelDX to 5 to decrease the indent for each level of items, but would like to decrease the indent even more. Ican't find the parameter that will set the indent in pixels of thefirst level item.

Also, is there a setting that will put text for a menu item on a second line?

A: You can make the smallest indent this way:
  var tlevelDX = 0;
You are not able to have more little indent. This place is reservedfor + buttons.

Try to set this parameter:

  var tnoWrap=0;

You can also use <br> tags in the item text, for example:

  var tmenuItems = [
["line 1<br>line 2"],
];

Q: Is there any way through script to call the function that would be called if the user clicked a dhtml tabbed menu?


A: You're able to use Javascript for each item, for example:

  var bmenuitems = [
["item text", "javascript:your_code_here"]
];

Unfortunately, you can't assign onmouseover/onClick event to each item.
However, you can achieve this by using standard html objects within items, for example:

  var bmenuitems = [
["<div onClick='your_code_here'>item text</div>", "index.html"]
];

Q: I have a question:

The smHidePause = 1500

If hide is busy (during 1500), and I click somewhere else on the screen (empty place), I want the submenu to hide.

Can I make this happen?


A: Yes, you can do it.
You should use the following function to hide your submenus:

_dmsm(0);
where 0 - is index of the menu on a page >0.

Q: We have a problem. If the "sub menus" open downward (in a horizontal menu) and there is Flash under it, the menu disappears. It goes BEHIND the flash and can't be seen.

Is there a fix for this?
