Q: I'm a having an issue with my dhtml dropdown menus poping-up behind a flash object on a page. The key to this issue is that the menus work perfectly in our non-secure (HTTP) development environment, but do not work correctly on our secure (HTTPS) beta environment. The code on the 2 environments is exactly the same, and the beta environment does work when viewed in HTTP. Both the flash object and the Deluxe-Menu are called using relative paths, not absolute paths.
Please let me know what additional information you need from me. I appreciate any help you can provide.
A: Check that you're using latest version of engine files - v3.3.
You should add "opaque" parameter for <object> and <embed> tags.

Q: I have created a menu for a product tutorial. It consists of about 50 topics, each of which is listed in my menu. I’m wondering if there is a way to gray out the menu link for the open tutorial topic?
A: Unfortunately, Deluxe Menu doesn't have such a feature.
You should write your own code, for example, on PHP.
You can try to use the following function
function disable() {
dm_ext_changeItem(1, 1, 1, ["", "", "", "", "", "_"]);
}
to disable your items.

Q: When I put any new link on my tree view expand it goes as if I am placing as _blank when I have it leading to _self.
A: At the moment you have:

And you haven't specified "_self" parameter to

Q: How ever there is still one major issue that need to be solved before we open to site to the public and occurs when the form used by the 2020 Datashed application to search an item (page listing.asp) is used together with the Delux dropdown menu.
When the Delux dropdown menu display their data, it is possible to 'see' the information of the 2020 search form through it. The over all effect is some kind of transparency in the page that is not acceptable.
In the attached snapshot is an image of the web page that shows the effect that we want to avoid.
This effect only happens on the head area of the 2020 search form that I have marked with a red rectangle. The main body of the form, marked in blue, does not have this transparent effect.
I wonder if it is possible eliminate the transparency in javascript menu systems changing the adequate css file that is used in the red area, using the same css code that is applied in the blue area.
My solicitude for help is about this issue, could you advice about this matter and pinpoint the css file and instruction than can make this change, or there is another way to make the same result?
