Q: I have some problems with Deluxe Tree.
I have set the var tlevelDX to 5 to decrease the indent for each level of items, but would like to decrease the indent even more. Ican't find the parameter that will set the indent in pixels of thefirst level item.
Also, is there a setting that will put text for a menu item on a second line?
I hope that you can help.
A: You can make the smallest indent this way:
var tlevelDX = 0;
You are not able to have more little indent. This place is reservedfor + buttons.
Try to set this parameter:
var tnoWrap=0;
You can also use <br> tags in the item text, for example:
var tmenuItems = [
["line 1<br>line 2"],
];

Q: When I create a tree menu that can be expanded with the double arrows. I was wonder if there was a way to have the dhtml slide tree menu already expanded with I open the page the menu is on instead of having to expanded every time.
A: To expand items by default in Deluxe Tree you should add '+' symbolbefore item text.
Foe example:
["+Deluxe Tree: XP Style","", "default.files/xpicon1_s.gif", "", "", "XP Title Tip", "", "0", "", ],
["|Home","testlink.htm", "default.files/icon1_s.gif", "default.files/icon1_so.gif", "", "Home Page Tip", "", "", "", ],
["|Product Info","", "default.files/icon2_s.gif", "default.files/icon2_so.gif", "", "Product Info Tip", "", "", "", ],
["||What's New","testlink.htm", "default.files/iconarrs.gif", "", "", "", "", "", "", ],
["||Features","testlink.htm", "default.files/iconarrs.gif", "", "", "", "", "", "", ],
...
The following parameter expands all menu items by default:
var texpanded=1;
Q: Though, once I click on a link, the page will load properlyin the correct frame, but the next time I hover over that dhtml menu link again, I get a Permission Denied error.
A: It is possible that your links are incorrect.
If you open links situated in the different folders on your serveryou'll get error.
You can try to use absolute paths for your dhtml menu links:
var pathPrefix_link="http://domain.com/";
