Javascript Menu. DHTML Menu.

  • There can be multi level menus - create as many rows or columns of the menu as you want.
  • Use a mouse to drag a menu as a usual window. Also you can construct the menu where each submenu can be "detached" from the main menu (MSOfficeToolbarLike mode).

A: Actually we're using Deluxe Menu in our WordPress blogs without anyproblems.

You should edit the php template of your theme.
1. Go to Design -> Theme Editor
Open header.php file
!! Notice that you should CHMOD header.php file to777 setting. Find more info here:

2. Upload folder with all menu files on your server
3. Add the following code in the <head> tag:

FireFox - when hovering over the Product Info or Samples buttons, the Deluxe Menu flash element disappears behind the drop-down menu.

I notice this pages states: "If for some reasons a submenu can't drop down over an object the latter will be hidden for a time when the submenu is shown.".


A: Unfortunately, it is really so.
Now there is no work around for this.
We'll try to fix this bug in the future version of Deluxe Menu.


Q: I'm wondering if you can use the Link Item of the Deluxe Menu to have ASP code, similar to yoru FAQ below, only replacing the Javascript with ASP?

Q: We are using a licenced version of your tree-menu.
Now we have a situation, where we should show the actualclicked menu position with an icon or a color for a collapse tree menu.

A: This can be found with the help of external function of tree menu.
dtreet_ext_userClick(itID, event) - this function is called when clicking a mouse button on the item.

itID - item id
event - standard structure of events generated browser
dtreet_ext_getItemParams (menuInd, itemID) - returns all item parameters.
