  • Build right-click menus for your site. For this purpose you should appoint a peculiar method for the object you want. The current X,Y of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the context menu.
  • Design menus absolutely based on CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). It is possible to apply the personal CSS styles for every elements of the menu.
  • When the submenu is bigger than the visible page area, the size of submenu will be automatically decreased. A: You can try to use Deluxe Menu - this is a newer version of DHTMLMenu. You can use the following parameters there:

  var smShowPause=200;
  var smHidePause=5000;



Q: Now on IE for Windows, the menus disappear as I roll over them, though not always.
I'd say 90% of the time they fade away as my cursor crosses them.
10% they stay and I can get a good click.

On Safari, they work great.


A: See menu parameters they contain:
  var smShowPause=0;
  var smHidePause=0;

You should set, for example:
  var smShowPause=200;
  var smHidePause=1000;

Try that.


Q: I've tried to change the width of the images within the Deluxe Tuner program to do so. Can you please tell me where to find the configuration within the program?

A: You can't change images in Deluxe Tuner. You should do it in anygraphics editor, for example in CorelDraw or PhotoShop.

I'd like to put on my home page two java menu examples, one in the right side and one in the left side. I tried to create two java menu examples and put them in the home page with the command PHP include, but the menus don't work correctly. I think the menus search for the same javascript function and so there are problems. How can I solve this kind of problem?

A: You can use as many java menu examples as you want on the same page.

But notice that you should call dmWorkPath parameter and dmenu.js fileon the page only once.
