  • Build right-click menus for your site. For this purpose you should appoint a peculiar method for the object you want. The current X,Y of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the context menu.
  • Design menus absolutely based on CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). It is possible to apply the personal CSS styles for every elements of the menu.
  • When the submenu is bigger than the visible page area, the size of submenu will be automatically decreased. To view all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automagically scrolled! You can also define width and height for each submenu.

A: Now you have:

it is not correct.
You should set, for example:
  var transparency="100";

Try also to set:

  var itemPadding="0px 15px 0px 15px";



Q: How do I open a PDF document in a new window?  Is this in the Item Parameters window?

A: You can specify target parameter for each item

If you want to use context menu you can try to write your menuItems in the following way:
 ["|<a href='file.pdf' target='_blank'>Open file</a>","", "", "", "", "", "", "", "", ],

But you should create correct style for <a> tag.



Q: If you look at our site in IE (PC) the deluxemenu looks great justified left w/ our logo justified right. When you look at it in Safari (Mac) the dhtml menu dropdown is stretched across the entire width of the page and our logo is no longer in view (yuk!).

A: Try to set exact width for the menu in 'px':

Q: .How customizable is it style in for dhtml navigation, meaning, i have images i want used for the top level navigation, and background images for the rest. any way I can achieve this?

A: Actually you can create any menu with Deluxe Menu. You can use Individual Styles tocreate your menu.
