  • Build right-click menus for your site. For this purpose you should appoint a peculiar method for the object you want. The current X,Y of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the context menu.
  • Design menus absolutely based on CSS (Cascading Style Sheets). It is possible to apply the personal CSS styles for every elements of the menu.
  • When the submenu is bigger than the visible page area, the size of submenu will be automatically decreased. To view all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automagically scrolled! Q: I have small problems with your javascript menu system.

#1. I am creating a multi-level menu, am I limited to a gird format or can every item have a variable column width?

#2. With submenus, I want to have the submenu be the same width as the parent cell, is there a simple command for this, or do I have to guess the column widths until it fits correctly?

#3. In those same submenus, I have items that are longer than the parent, is there a word wrap or a way to define a break, rather than having the scroll feature?


A: 1) You should use Individual Item Styles.

Q: When my page loads up, there is a flash for about a second of all the text that is used in the java menus. This looks really bad to visitors like I am using hidden text on the page. Is there a way to prevent this flash of text?

A: You should specify any Object ID name of the DIV.

See, for each java text menu item you should assign the ID property of the contentDIV (see data file with your menu parameters).
