Q: My second “drop down” column of the milonic dhtml menu goes up instead of down like the rest..Can you tell me how to correct this?


A: Try to set the following parameter:

  var subMenuVAlign="bottom";

Q: I am trying to implement Deluxe Menu 2.0 on a .aspx-page.

However the Norwegian characters are not showed correctly. (only in the menu)

What do I need to do?

It works fine with the old version of Deluxe Menu in our normal asp-pages.


A: When you call data .js file you can try to specify the encoding:

< SCRIPT src="Dansk Aktionarforening11_files/data.js" charset="UTF-8"> </SCRIPT>

or

<SCRIPT src="Dansk Aktionarforening11_files/data.js" charset="ISO-8859-1"> </SCRIPT>

Try that.


Q: I would like to know how to put items in on multiple lines for the horizontal navigation
(i.e. create a line feed), how do I tell my code to start a new menuitem on the NEXT line?

A: There are 2 ways to do that:

1) set

  var noWrap=0;

2) use <br> tags, for example:

  var menuItems = [
 ["|Here is where <br>I would like <br>to have a line<br> feed",,"","", "", "", "", "", "", "", "",],
];



Q: We had a strange problem with the menus when the sub menus are over applet in https: the applet disappeared.

After doing some Investigation in your code we noticed that you are using in HTTPS mode div instead of Iframe.

We would be happy if you can tell us why you are using div in this mode and if we will use http mode will it cause something that can affect the menus


A: Iframes don't work on https:// websites. You'll get warning message. That's why we're using <div> tag.If for some reasons a submenu can't drop down over an object the latterwill be hidden for a time when the submenu is shown.

If you use Deluxe Menu on https:// website, submenus won't drop downover select boxes within iframe objects. It works fine on a non-secureservers only.
