  • Apply any font of any color, size and font decoration you need. Use any available type, color and thickness of a menu's frame. Choose any color for submenus and items backgrounds.
  • Set the size of the menu in percent, pixels, or other units. This menu may have a relative (it can be inserted into the table, for example) or absolute position .
  • Specify various values for spacing and padding for the whole menu and for each separate submenu.
  • You can specify a time for delays in showing or hiding of a submenu. Use special prefixes for image paths and links to make paths absolute.

Q: What I would like is a link inside the popup window that closes the mouseover popup window. I tried moving the "close" link from the main page into the popup window html but I get a Javascript error when I click on that link.

A: See, if you load a different page in your popup window (iframe) suchlink won't work in it.

If you add the content of the mouseover popup window in DIV (so, it will be thesame page) such link will work.

Q: I would like to create my own jpeg images and use them as the mouseover-items in the top level drop down menus. I am not talking about the backround. I mean the actual upfront button.
I seem to be locked into the size which is the default and would like to change it to width = 180px and height = 45px for each item in the menu.
Is there any way to do that?


A: You should create Individual Style and assign it for all top items.

Q: I evaluated Deluxe Menu over the weekend and I really like it. I believe I'll be buying it this week. I have one question. Is it possible for the menu to be aware of what page you have selected and highlight the corresponding menu item on that page.


A: You should set a pressed item using Javascript API:

function dm_ext_setPressedItem (menuInd, submenuInd, itemInd, recursion)

Sets a current pressed item.
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
itemInd - index of an item, >=0.
recursion = true/false - highlight parent items.

But notice, to use dm_ext_setPressedItem() you should know ID of selected item and subitem.
You can't get this ID after you reload your page. That is why you should write your own code on PHP.


Q: If i use windows tree menu and published on my web site it is default all menu and submenu areopened . I want that all menu is default closed if user click on main menu itwill be opened submenu. Please wich parameters i have to change. Please help me

A: You should set the following parameter:
  var texpanded=0;

Check also that you don't have '+' sign before item's text in the top items, for example:
