The javascript submenu do not go over top of my other elements like the FAQ says it should.

A: Now you have the following style Z-INDEX: 2000; for .titleTopCenterDIV.

The menu has lower index in that case.

Try to set it to
Z-INDEX: 10;



Q: Is your dhtml menu software compatable with xsite pro?


A: Deluxe Menu wasn't developed as Dreamweaver/Frontpage/XSitePro extension,
BUT you can use it as standard Javascript files.
To install the menuinto your html page:

1. open the page in Dreamweaver/Frontpage/XSitePro
2. open html source code of the page
3. add several rows of code (<script> tags), For info see:
http://deluxe-menu.com/installation-info.html

Q: How can we add a css horizontal dropdown menu separator? I’ve tried the following code but it only adds a menu item with the text “|-“ which is unselectable.

dm_ext_addItem(0, 1,  ["|-"])

A: You should add separator without "|" symbol:

dm_ext_addItem(0, 1, ["-"], 1);



Q: I'm trying to display the submenus to the left of the menu. I searched your questions and found one that said to use the following:
  var smViewType=2;
I added this but it didn't do anything.
