Q: Why is it that when we place a drop menu ina div that the droppping part is not right uner the menu? The menu on top banner is the problem.. Thesame code outside of a div futher down the page works fine.

 I can place the same menu outside of the div and it works fine.When it is in a div the drop part of the menu is pushed to the far right of the screen.

A: Brian, see, the problem is that the script can't get css properties of the object if they are described in separate .css block (or file).
In other words, you can't get the value of "POSITION: absolute" attribute of the object if the object doesn't have this property within inline style (style="POSITION:absolute;"). To get the value you should move .css style into style="" attribute.

Please, try to add your
css file -> inline css, for example:

You should add style="POSITION: absolute;"

to the

<div id="menu">

So, you'll have:

<DIV id="menu" style="POSITION: absolute;">

Q: I would like to have the dhtml sliding menu save the state when reloading or refreshing the browser.Can this be done with the expandable menu? If so, what is the syntax?

A: You should use the following parameter:

  var tsaveState = 1;

example:-

menuitem_1 targets the Main frame..

menuitem_2 ..

   SUBmenuitem_2_(1) targets the Top frame..

   SUBmenuitem_2_(2) targets the Main frame..

menuitem_3 ..

   SUBmenuitem_3_(1) targets the Main frame..

   SUBmenuitem_3_(2) targets the Bottom frame..

Is this possible?

A: You can set target parameter for all items:
  var itemTarget="_blank";
or
  var itemTarget="main";

Where main - is the name of the main frame where you want to open the link.

or for each item individually:

...
["Home","testlink.html", "", "", "", "main", "", "", "", "", "", ],

Q: We are now working with Deluxe Menu and can't get our favorite template to link. It is the one you call animated-icons
The example you gave has no links, but when we try to add links to it (in the 2nd parameter of any menu item), NOTHING happens.
It's not a broken link, it just wont do ANYTHING.
