  • Create contextual menus for your pages. For this purpose you should assign a special function for the object you want. The current coordinates of the mouse pointer or your own ones can be used for the contextual menu.
  • When the submenu is larger than the visible area of the page the submenu will be automatically decreased. To see all the submenu items you do not need to use scrollbars or something like that - just put your mouse to the bottom of a submenu and it will be automatically scrolled! Q: I would like to setup a menu that is Horizontal at level 1,Horizontal at level 2, then vertical from then on. Can your system handle this?  Even if I need to manuallytweak something that would be fine.

A: Unfortunately, the menu can't do that. You can only set theorientation for the top-menu and its submenus.

Q: We want the javascript dhtml drop down menu which have sub menu to have a arrow, so that the visitor know that they have to cliek there. We have put in arrow on the tab which are having drop downs, but on mouse over to the single javascript dhtml drop down menu also it is showing the arrow and another problem is that when the drop down is used then there after the arrow is no more visible.

A: You can create Individual XP Style and use it for items with submenus:

Q: I ran IE7 and now the "Incorrect Copyright" message appears again on the menu. Please advise.


A: What version of Deluxe Menu you're using now?

Deluxe Menu v2.0 works fine in IE.

Q: Go to the "products", then to "Furnaces" or "Humidifiers". Seethe sub menu js items ending with "0"? See how they seem to be cut off on the very far right edge?

A: This is a feature of Firefox 3.0.3.

You'll have such effect if you'll use Trebuchet MS font andtransparency for submenus.

Try to use another font, or set
  var transparency="100";
