Q: We have been using you menus for a couple of months now. If I use the pathPrefix_link variable does it prefix dhtml menu's links that already have http or https (such as external sites) and will it interfere with the javascript onclicks for that we have setup?

A: No, path prefix won't be added to links with 'http://...' and 'javascript:...' in the beginning ofthe link field.

Q: The menus I am trying to change, it seems as though the transparency is too light. Where in the java menu generator do you reduce some of the transparency? Thanks.

A: Use the following parameter in the java menu generator:

Q: I am attempting to install a menu I've created into FrontPage2003.
I read what the web site says but it didn't seem to work. Any other suggestions?

A: Deluxe Menu wasn't developed as Dreamweaver/Frontpage extension,BUT you can use it as standard Javascript files. To install the menuinto your html page:

1. open the page in your program
2. open html source code of the page
3. add several rows of code (<script> tags), For info see: http://deluxe-menu.com/installation-info.html

Q: I use v3.0.
I cannot manage to search within the menu.

I have done this:

A: You forgot to copy dmenu_search.js file on your server.

See the attached example. Search works fine.

You can also specify styles for the search box:
