Q: I was wonder if there was a way to have the css tree view already expanded with I open the page the menu is on instead of having to expanded every time.
A: The following parameter expands all menu items by default:
var texpanded=1;Q: The only remaining problem I see is that the html popup menu appears in slightly different positions depending upon where your mouse touches the icon.
Is there a way to make the menu position absolute in respect to the icon? I have tried playing with the menu item parameters that seemed related with no success.
A: See dm_popup() function parameters:
return dm_popup(menuInd, pause, event, x, y)
menuInd - index of the menu on a page, >= 0.
pause - determines the time when the html popup menu will be hidden.
event - constant. Do not change.
x, y - optional. Set these parameters if you want the menu to appear in the specified place.
In other case the menu will be shown in the mouse position.Q: In javascriptcoding I have id of the submenu. How can retrieve id of the parent menu item in the drop-down menus?
A: You can try to use the following function
function dm_ext_getSubmenuParams (menuInd, submenuInd)
Returns submenu parameters in the array:
[submenu_id, items_count, parent_item_id, submenu_level, is_horizontal]
menuInd - index of a menu on a page, >= 0.
submenuInd - index of a submenu, >= 0.
Using this function you can retrieve the parent_item_id.

Q: I have the trial of deluxe menu. We are in the process of purchasing it.
I just noticed that the div drop down menu are not going in front of a flash element that is on the page.
I have set the "opaque" value as per your faq.
Any other things I should check to get the div drop down menu to be in front of the flash element?
A: You should add the following function in the beginning of your data file
function dm_ext_ruleObjectHide()
{
return false;
}
