Q: I was enthused to see you had cross-frame support for your menus. But, as I got into it, I discovered that your javascript transparent menu doesn't support frames within frames.

A: Actually Deluxe Menu works correctly with nested frames in most cases.Try to install Deluxe Menu in cross-frame mode. If you'll have someproblems you can send us a copy of your html page (including .js files) ora direct link to your website, so we can check it.



Q: My menu does not work with IE7 (I don't know if it works with IE6) but it works perfectly in FF and Netscape. HELP!!!


A: You have several errors in your data file.

Please, check that you don't have additional spaces in yourparameters.

For example:
  var fontColor=["#F3E398 ","#F3E398 "];
  var itemBackColor=["#43597E","#9B1313 "];
"fontColor=#F3E398 ,#F3E398 "


Q: I have to find out, how the javascript tree control is NOT expanding in the beginning..

A: You should set the following parameter:

  var texpanded=0;

Use + signs before items text to expand some items:

["+Land","", "", "", "", "", "", "0", "", "", ],

Q: My menus work fine on IE7 and earlier and other browsers. However I tested the java hover menu with Internet Explorer 8 beta and errors are sometimes thrown.

I tried viewing your site with IE8 – which didn't work with IE8 a few weeks ago but I notice everything works now.

Do you know what might causing the problems?

A: We're planning the full support for IE8 as well as for all major browsers.
All issues will be fixed with final version of IE8.
