A: This is space to document borders. We've set this space, so that yoursubmenus will not look like the part of browser window. If you wantyou can delete that space.

Open dmenu.js file in any text editor and find the following code:

space=15;

Change 15 to 0.

Q: How do I make the buttons in my java navigation menu transparent?
I only want to see the letters appear in my table and not the button until I mouse over it?


A: To set transparent background for the menu you should set:

  var menuBackColor="transparent";
  var itemBackColor=["transparent","transparent"];


Q: Although our college standard is IE, a lot of our students use firefox. I tried the css drop menu in Firefox 2, and it works, but the nice transition effect isn't there. Will you make this work soon?

A: Transparency and other transitional effects are supported by IE 5.5+only. This is MS IE feature. Other browsers don't support them.



Q: Is it possible for dhtml vertical tabs to have a link on page that links to

A: You can use the following function to open specific tab:

where
menuInd - index of a tab menu on a page, >= 0.
