Q: Why don't any of the effects work in Firefox? I have built several different types of menus and they don't work the same in firefox as they do in IE. Is there a way to fix this? i.e. adding any html code or anything?


A: Yes, it is really so. Firefox supports only transparency of the menu.
Visual effects work in IE only. other browsers don't support them.

Q: I am interesting to use it for integration in some CMS I am currently using, as for instance : Xoops

1. Do you think that it is possible easily to integrate your menus with the xoops database content for the texts and links ?

2. Where links are they specified in the Deluxe Tuner interface

A: 1) Deluxe Menu wasn't developed as Xoops extension,BUT you can use it as standard Javascript files.
To create and configure your menus use Deluxe Tuner application
(included into the trial package): http://deluxe-menu.com/deluxe-tuner-info.html

2) You can assign link for each item. You can do it in "ItemParameter" window "Link" field.


Q: How do you center the text within the top-level menu cels for the xml drop down menu?
There doesn't seem to be a setting for it in the tuner.
There's a justification option for the sub-menus, but not for the top.

A: Use the following parameter to specify align for the top items:

  var itemAlignTop="center";
