I've been working with the trial version, but I haven't been able to put HTML code within the javascript pop menu Item, in order to do actions like opening a new URL, or opening a file or page with .htm extension.

A: Actually you are able to paste any html code within items.

Q: After much coming and going I have finally got De Luxe menu to work with Firefox 2

But the menu system on the exact same htm page I have created does not show up in IE7.

Q: I know. I have two menus on the page and I am not using beforeItemImage orafterItemImage for the top menu in javascript (the one you referenced below), but I need it for the second menu. The parameters for that menu are in mainnav_data.js.

Even when I only call dmWorkPath and dmenu.js once, it does not work.

A: See, it is not correctly to use image-based items:

and specify beforeItemImage/afterItemImage parameters. They won't work in that case.

You can create such buttons in the following ways:
1) Use image-based menu (images with text).

Create normal and mouse-over state images (with text) for each item:

But you should create a small images in any Graph Editor, for example:

You cannot use these two methods together!

Q: I want to emulate all browsers with the same transition. When mousing over a dhtml pulldown menu - the submenu should appear with no effect.

A: To turn off transitional effects you should set the following parameters:
