Q: Tell us javascript code to select or highlight the tab and sub tab in javascript tabs navigation.

A: Deluxe Tabs doesn't support API functions which can return theselected tab.

You can set "bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersbased on your link before you call your data file.

For example, move "  var bselectedItem" and "  var bselectedSmItem" parametersfrom your data file to your code.

You should define seltabs and selsmtabs using server side script.

You can also set it on every page before you call data.js file, forexample:

Q: I just downloaded the beta for IE8

And it looks like the java script menu code has a lot of issues with it. Are you guys going to be supporting IE8?

A: Yes, we're planning the full support for IE8 as well as for all major browsers.

All issues will be fixed with final version of IE8.



Q: I just purchased your Deluxe Menu maker. Wonderful tool!  

I have made a menu, uploaded it to my HTML folder at Typepad in the correct place and tried several OTHER places too.  

I have inserted the js snips into the head and body in all permutations of combinations.  

I checked it each time by both opening my site and viewing source.  

The menu is there. But it cannot be seen on the page. Never has been seen. Not even a hint of it being there.  

I tried .js .file   AND .js    AND CSS.  

No menu.  

I checked on four browsers.  

No menu.  

I verified the files are in my index place by copying them to notebook.  

I have done all of the above about 20 times EACH.

It is not correct. You should call dmenu.js file only once.

Please, delete the second code.

There is now engine .js files

and data file on your server.



Q: I would like to know how to put the items for the popup menu on multiple lines (i.e. create a line feed), how do I tell my code to start a new menu item on the NEXT line?

A: There are 2 ways to do that:

1. set

  var noWrap=0;

2. use
tags, for example:
